I just can't stand bullies. Messing with someone just because that person may seem weak to them. Some bullies pick on others because their own lives are messed up. To those reading this, you're strong, you're important and don't let any of those bullies take that away from you

My mom always told me this story as a kid. She went to school with her cousin and had a tight knit group of friends from elementary to middle school. During 8th grade they planned on beating my mom up one day, no real reason behind it, they just felt like she shouldn't be in the group anymore. So they lured her to a secluded spot near the woods. 4 of the girls then held her down while her cousin punched her. My mom said that she was so angry that she kicked, bit, and clawed all of them until they started bleeding. They all ran away crying and screaming and that was that, she never was in contact with them again. So messed up that they would just turn on her but it seems to me like they were the type to talk badly about her or exclude her from secret things behind her back, hate when friend groups do that to someone.

I stopped bullies twice in my life. The first time Columbine happened and everyone got scared of me for no reason. I would hear whispers from people saying not to mess with me that it's the quiet kids that shoot up the school. I would never but it stopped them from bullying me. Then a few years later in another school, this one girl kept bullying me and one day pushed me into the road while the bus was coming. I knew I had time to get back to the sidewalk long before the bus got there so I just walked back and she got so freaked out that I didn't freak out from getting pushed out in the road that she avoided me from then on.

Oh my gosh, that happened with me too. I’m really introverted due to really bad experiences in like fifth grade (I’m a sophomore now) but in middle school I’d always hear rumors about me bringing a gun to school one day because anyone who approached me I’d just stare at them and not say anything. I have opened up more this past year and met some good people though.

@@QuiteTheBandNerd I'm glad things have gotten better for you! I had a couple friends during those times so I never let it get to me. If anything I figured if they thought that of me then they wouldn't bully me again so I found it a win at the time. But people got really freaked out back then because of the recent school shooting that happened, although looking it up it had to of been the Santana School shooting that occured during that time, not Columbine...

I suffer seizure attacks. I've been classmates with the same kids from 3rd grade till 6th grade. They've witnessed my seizure attacks enough times to get worried and protective over me, have to say sometimes I felt suffocated being on constant watch by them, kids my age, but I appreciated their care still. In fifth grade we got a new classmate, a boy who was a menace to girls but mostly me, I was an easy target because of my short temper and cried easily. But whenever he tormented me he'd get ganged up on by at least half the class, it was fun to watch him sweat. Then one day, was playing my flute outside the classroom, it was recess time. A boy from a different class approached me to ask where I bought my flute, and my eyes zeroed in on the snake wrapped around his arm. I flipped, started screaming and crying. Five girls from my class(all my friends) rushed to me. Three of them hugged me and comforted me while the other two absolutely chewed out the poor boy. When I calmed down I bit, I realized the snake was just toy. Embarrassed I pressed my face against the chest of one of the girls and cried a bit more. They didn't leave my side until classes resumed. I've gotten more independent now, but I'll always appreciate my former classmates' care for me

So another boy, not the bully, had a toy snake wraped around his arm, you begin to cry, your classmates rush to you and go hard at him for having a toysnake around his arm, which, by you not mentioning, seems like he did not try to use it to bully you. He only asked for where you got your flute from. But you hyperventilate and make your classmates go at him. And when you realize that it is a toy snake, you cry some more and hide your face instead of clearing things up. While this other boy, not the bully you mentioned before, is getting ganged on by your classmates. Yeah. Sounds like pretty manipulative and bully-ish behaviour to me.

Okay so this happened my sophomore year in first period English class. My desk was literally right next to the teachers desk with a 1ft walking gap. The classroom was so small 30 kids practically sat on top of each other and I practically sat on the teacher. So there was no way the teacher was not going to see or hear what happened. Also we had a substitute teacher that day- I’ve actually known her since kindergarten because I’d been in the same class as her son since we were small. So we were working on a project we had been working on the last few days. We were allowed to pair up in no more than groups of 3 and were allowed to talk while working on our own projects. My friend and I already sat next every day so we were just sitting there chatting. Two of my bullies who were in the class were sat in front of us. While we were talking one of my bullies turned around and chimed in on the conversation like she had be apart of it all along talking about herself (we had been talking about my friend possibly going to live with her uncle because her parents were shit people). I asked her politely to please turn back around and do her work because she had never been apart of the conversation and she was being rude. Well she didn’t like that and started demanding like a child to be included and she had every right to be included because she and my friend were friends (sadly true, but my friend was afraid of her). She threw a child’s tantrum and started fighting with me and calling me names and mocking me to get under my skin, but every time I used my words to explain to her that she was not part of the conversation, she was rude and to turn back around. Finally she got so frustrated with me not backing down that she said and I quote “well at least my dads not dead!” I. Fucking. Snapped. I stood up over her and looked down at her (wasn’t hard, I’m over a foot taller than her) and said “my dad was a US marine. He fought for this country, the house you live in, the very ground you walk on and I am so proud to be his daughter. What did your dad ever do? Burn down the school?” Which was absolutely true. Her father had sat the library on fire when he dropped out of high school over 20 years prior as a final “fuck you”. He then went on to live life as a degenerate in and out of jail for petty theft and everything you can imagine with drugs and alcohol. That shut her up real quick. That’s also when the teacher stepped in and told us both to go stand out in the hallway while she called the office. I stood in the hallway like I was told but she walked away saying she was going to go to the office to tell on me, but I know she really went to the girls room to cry. After a couple minutes I was called back into the classroom. I never got in trouble, never had to talk to the principal. Nothing. But a few days later I was called to the principals office for something different but related. See another of my bullies and two of her friends went to the office claiming I had assaulted her for no reason during lunch in the gym. They made a good show of it too. Her arm was scratched up and she was crying according to what’s he principal told me. But he didn’t believe them because he couldn’t see me attacking anyone for no reason. So he looked at the security cameras- I think you know where this is going. The cameras showed me waiting in the lunch line, sitting down and eating my lunch, returning my tray and then taking my things and going out into the hall where I sat down listening to music and sketching for the remaining 15 minutes of lunch (lunch was 30 min). It showed that I was nowhere near any of them and had zero contact with them. However, it did show the grew girls going into the girls restroom perfectly fine and then coming out 5 minutes later with my bully holding her arm and crying and the three of them walking down to the office. The first bully had the second bully try to get me expelled for making her cry. They tried to frame me for assault. I never told the principal why the second bully did this, I was afraid I’d actually get in trouble for blowing up the other day, but I never got in trouble for either instance. The second bully, however, got suspended for a week and had to serve detention for the rest of the school year.

@@stephaniecourteoreille5972 After the second bully came back to school she left me alone for the rest of the year because if she tried anything again she would be expelled no mater what. The first bully left me alone too, I think she was afraid of me after that because she figured out I knew more about her and her family than she thought I did- like her grandfather who was the towns sheriff ran a small drug ring out of the police department and his son (bullies father) used a good chunk of his merchandise and the profits. I also knew that they didn’t actually make any of the drugs, they stole prescription drugs from people they pulled over and if they refused to willingly give the cops the medication they’d be arrested on false charges. I happened to my brother a few times unfortunately. They didn’t actually do any policing. Anything violent was waved off as a domestic dispute and they would walk away, even if it meant putting people’s lives at risk. The state police finally figured out what that department was doing some years ago, arrested the sheriff and completely overhauled the department. Unfortunately they chose someone just as bad to take over. How do I know? He was part of my brothers graduating class and was his friend. He used to try to sneak peeks at me changing. He’s got...issues with little girls (I’m 9 years younger than him)

In my freshman year of high school, I was in the same school as my older brother for the first time since I was in 3rd grade. On the first day of school, I was walking up the stairs, and apparently, somebody said something rude. I didn't hear it, but my brother who was a little ways behind whoever said it heard it very clearly. Before last period, my brother and I passed in the hall. He told me he would drive me home after school. OK. On the way home, he asked who had said something as I was going up the stairs. I told him I didn't know because I didn't hear it. He told me to let him know if ANYONE was ever mean to me at school. A couple guys had "conversations" with their lockers ... but I wasn't really bullied. He also had his friends looking out for me and reporting back to him if they didn't get a chance to handle it. Now, my school district was pretty small (about 100 graduates each year), but I didn't really know anyone in his class (except for those guy friends that would come to our house to hang out with him or play football in our yard with us ... and his girlfriend). So imagine my surprise when seniors were saying hi to me by name and I had no clue who they were. Getting past that first year set a precedent for the most part - don't f' with me. Only 1 guy tried to violate that the next year ... and he punched me in the stomach when the teacher was out of the room. Others saw that. It got back to one of my brother's friends that was a year behind him. He took care of it for me.

I was always a little quiet but intelligent kid, I was bullied in 8th and 9th grade, idk why but all the girls, except 3 of them started badmouthing me,ignoring me and making mean comments about me. Like once I was on duty to collect projects of the class and submit them to the teacher, when I asked a bully to give me her project she ignored me and said to her friend,"do you hear dogs barking?" Her friend said "no,but there is this shitty smell here and its killing me" I was in tears..and cried in bathroom. Also their bullying got worse,I was not invited to play sports, join groups, etc I was made fun of while simply existing. And one day I just burst into tears in my classroom, and some boys saw me. They kept asking me what's wrong and all, and one of them went to get a teacher to help me. I went home afterwards, the teacher sent a note with me to let me leave early.she booked an Uber for me. Next day, my homeroom teacher made everyone sit in the class and asked me what's wrong, it was hard but I finally told her about the bullying. And the bullies were like,"she broke fights between us, she is a liar, she badmouths our friends." I never did any of those, I was just sick and at home, but when I came back then the bullying started. Before I had the chance to explain myself, the football team captain was like, "NOO, SHE WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT." and many other guys were like, "yes maam, she is the most sincere person and never lies, she is innocent as hell" I had never talked to boys before except the regular classmate talks, like a little help with homework, or making projects together, the guys were like good acquaintances, just not friends. I was surprised to see them support me. Anyways my teacher trusted me as I was in the school since I was 5 year old. She knew me inside out. And after that a group of 3 boys "adopted" me as their friend and 9th grade turned out to be better. In 12th grade I was made head girl, because my grades were good and I had won many awards in extra curricular like debates, article writing(1st prize on national level!), poetry writing, science project, Art and craft and badminton. I was also on good terms with the juniors, even the 4th graders who were in the same school bus as me like me. Everything turned out fine and the bullies were not bullying me anymore, I can't remember clearly but we all just became good acquaintances again and talked randomly. And one of the girls who didn't bully me was my best friend. I got a "goodbye" card from a 4th grader when I graduated, she was so cute and the card was messy but I still have it.

Hi Ellen What you said back there is so true. A bully often doesn't remember all the awful things they do but their victims remember... sometimes to the point where it effects their lives. Because to the bully it often means nothing, unless they are real psycho dreaming up ways to harm. There used to be a talk show by Rikki Lake. It was abit like Oprah and loads of people watched it. She had this lady on talking about being bullied and harassed at school by this girl, it had a terrible effect on her. Rikki's researchers had found the bully and asked her if she'd like to be a special guest on the show, I don't know what they promised her but she came on and Rikki went over all the nasty things she had done infront of millions of viewers. Well, you can guess who was crying and feeling very sorry for herself can't you ! If only that could happen to all mean bullies. I began a new school midterm not knowing anyone or who the bullies were. We had to line up outside of the classrooms and this scary girl came over and began bullying me while her class and mine everyone just watched. I thought if I don't knock this on the head now it will always be a problem so I hit her as hard as I could across the face, she never came near me again. Afterwards everyone told me that she was the school bully.

Being called fat and being laughed at is bullying;teasing is friendly. Like when your friend calls u a couch potato, that is teasing.

I was teased and excluded in a small school, where there was only 35 people in my grade. I didn't really stand up for myself. I just tried to do my own thing and act like what they said didn't hurt me. Then, I finally left.

5 years ago when I was 8 I went to this sleep away camp. In camp there was this girl ( I'll call her Dora) who would bully me and make fun of me and even would get others to make fun of me as well. Last year I returned again, for the first time since five years ago, and thought she would be there....but she wasn't and I was quite happy about it. This year I came again and when I got on the camp bus that took us to camp Dora walked past me and when she saw me said " Oh hi. How are you? Do you remember me?" I replied warmly that I'm fine and that I do remember her and asked her how she was doing. She said she was fine, smiled and walked back to her seat. I really thought she would be mean to me this year we well....but.... surprisingly..SHE WASN'T! She was actually really nice and we even became friends. Not close friends but friends nevertheless. I guess she grew up and matured over the years.

2:22 I guess I can contribute here (it's not any bully case tho, but definitely worth sharing).. So, there's this senior in our school (im in 9th grade and he's in 10th) and he's a total freak and kinda creepy). So after I got to know about his "little crush" on me and how the person is from his classmates, I was kinda bothered (also his friends used to bother me almost everyday) and told about this to one of my classmates (he was the first one i told this to apart from my bsf's.. also I looked at him as my elder brother and the vice versa, so yeah). So he went to that senior and his friends t warn him, but that dude was still adamant. Seeing that things are not working, he ganged up with few of other classmates and a few others from the other sections for a fight that the seniors had challenged them to. After this, the senior didn't come near me anymore, but ig they didn't stop anyways. So for the time being, they (my classmates) are literally acting like my guards. When I wanted to thank him, he was like "oh dw, this's what a brother is supposed to do for his sis anyways". Not to mention, as an only child, who always wanted an elder bro, what he did for me definitely special for me :'))

There is a plant family called sumac in New England. It's got brisly hairs down it's bark and newer branches are flexible. I saw one of those trees which grow in clumps and made a mean plan. I took branches that were about an inch wide and cut them into strips while still on tree. I put coconut oil on the inner branches to keep them pliant and make the branches sticky. I tied the branches together with a small bit of floss. The next day after school my bully came at me and I mocked him before running. I darted under my trap because I'm small. He wasn't lucky, and got whipped with 25 sticky, toughened, brisly branches. He was shirtless in the Summer and got welts everywhere which then had to be flushed clean with pressurized distilled water. I went back to school the next day and cared for the trees as a thank you.

While that was a great revenge some people are deathly allergic to Sumac like me, could have killed him. I'm allergic to most plants. Got poison ivy as a child and nearly died, was in intensive care for over 1 month!

@@valerieb8541 They are two different plants in my area. I'm allergic to Poison Sumac, poison ivy, and poison oak as well. I happen to know what edible calamine is like.. I know my local area like the back of my hand. I had been collecting the red flower heads to dye clothes and candle wax for years from that patch of trees.

I was bullied all the way through school, and I mean from elementary all the way to end of hs. I remember when I was like 10 (so in 4th grade i guess) the boys would hide my shoes in the bathrooms, they threw my mittens in the toilet and I had to fish them out. One thing I remember well is during the winter, I got a new cute woolen beanie from my parents. It had some decorative stones sewed to it. During the recess 3 boys from my class decided that it would be fun to yank it off my head and make me run after them to get it back, they always gave it to the next one so when I caught one he didn't have it anymore. Lastly they filled it with snow and showed it in a pile of snow. When I finally got it back it had snow sticking to it and most of the stones had teared off... it's actually kinda funny that one of the 3 guys was a really good friend of mine in 6th grade tho and he did apologize multiple times. The others stopped after I kicked one of them after they insulted my new military boots :D high school sucked tho

This is my story. I has this one girl who was a grade above me just be mean to me. She called me names, taunted me, and even ran in front of my mom's car on the road yelling at her to hit her with the car. My mom didn't. A couple of days later. We were out having P.E. and I just snapped. The teacher had to go do something and the bully started picking on me again. She went to hit me and before I knew what happened, I was on her back holding her in a neck hold. We got split up when the teacher was coming back. The bully tried to say how she beat me up, but all the boys in our gym class shot her down saying that I actually won the fight. She didn't bother me anymore. I found out much later that she got mad that she thought I liked the same guy as her. That sad part is that she had a boyfriend who went to a different school.
