Thanks Doc. I was not aware of the brand. This is the kind of content that makes me look forward to your videos!

i’m glad to see it is still made in USA.

Thank you to talking about USA made tools. I noticed you went little bit into US designed and China made stuff and I 100% agree, as soon as something moves to be made in China its no longer US product

I love mine. Use it for circuit board work, with a special clamp jaw.

Hello again Doc Thank you for another Great Video 👍 That was a very good idea 💡 I saw another vise that was portable. A regular size vise. All the castors swivel and lock. The stand was roughly 4 foot tall. I can see both of these being very useful. Again thank you 😊

Looks like a fantastic lock picking vice!

The small parts trays are a great feature.

They are. And I forgot to mention the particular slope of the tray on the outside is designed for easy removal of small parts rather than have them bunch up into a corner or along an edge.

I guess I'm a vise snob, at least in this context. I have small vises as well as large vises. American manufacturing at its finest. Love vises, so I can't really flaw the Panavise for light applications.

You've renewed my interest in the one I've had for many years. Interestingly, mine says Long Beach, CA, so I wonder how old mine is.
@lastbesttool2 жыл бұрын
I think Long Beach was the original factory location so I assume it could be from the late 1950s through the mid 1970s

I just asked the same thing. It says Long Beach and has a suction bottom.

I'd really love to see some of the other Panavice, IDK if that's right or not. But you know what I'm talking about. Anyhow the other bases, the other attachments and well really any other stuff made by them really..

Kind of a bummer that the rubber feet aren't included? You can see the spots for them.

I bought a panavise on Marketplace and it was filthy i starting washing it because i was going to paint it and after watching this video i realized it was green and made in Longbeach. It has the suction bottom so i just buffed it and greased it works perfect. Its my second one any ideas how old it is ?

$110 AUD for the base and $181AUD for the vice and body. We get ripped off here in Australia.
