Jay & Amber, as ravenous Def Leppard Fans (like me), I have to inform you that the band is putting out another album on May 22, called "Diamond Star Halos". I've heard a couple of songs from it, and.... yeah, it's amazing. As for your next Def Leppard song, I had to review the eight titles you've already done so I don't recommend something you've reacted to. You can do "Foolin", "Animal", "Armageddon It", "Rocket", "Make Love Like a Man", "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad", or "Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion)". To answer your question - Def Leppard's big breakout album was in 1983, Pyromania. It was one year later that Rick Allen lost his arm. Their follow-up album, Hysteria (which this is the title track of) ,was released in 1987, by which time Rick had been able to perfect one-armed drumming.

The album was supposed to come out in 1986, but singer Joe Elliott came down with the mumps, of all things. (It's much worse for adults than children, as I understand.) Rick had reported back for duty at the end of 1985, which is pretty impressive. The album was the last for guitarist Steve Clark, who drank himself to death during the production of the next album. (The band had given him six months off to get sober. It didn't work, sadly.)

Saw these guys twice back in the 80s. Never disappointed.

I also saw them in 2012 (with Lita Ford and Poison opening) and in 2016 (with Tesla and REO Speedwagon opening), and they STILL did not disappoint! 👍👍

One of the best lyrics ever “dream me off my feet” Can never listen to this song just once l, it has to be repeated at least twice back to back. To me the lyrics on the surface are about meeting a lover that you cannot resist because the fire is so hot. It may also be on a spiritual level because they connect in that way it’s makes the attraction so much more intense.

Love this song. Man, I had all of these albums on cassette. For as long as I live, I will never tire of listening to my favorite hair band of the 80’s.

Bought their first album after hearing "Hello America" on the radio. Def Lep was a major band in the 80's.
