This is such a brilliant tutorial on UV unwrapping. I'm already quite good myself but I notice you create seams with such confidence while I'm always trying to figure out ways of having no seams whatsoever if I can help it. I think I should probably just create seams and focus on reducing stretching.

yeah, most times seams wont show if you are doing texture painting or using programs like substance painter, so dont worry too much about it
