Yeah Eazy-E took a break from his own career so that he could boost them up. They ended up going 8x platinum when they were signed with E, after E died they pretty much died too :(

What Ryan said went over so many heads. I’ll be honest, I thought you was a little ignorant to begin with but what you said about 80’s rap and how you enjoyed it more is so important. Because it’s very clear that rap completely changed from the early 90’s. Rumour has it, that was a systematic decision from the labels and elites to make rap slightly more degenerate. And the fact you noticed that without really noticing is very interesting.

We've only listened to two MF DOOM songs so far. We aren't saying that he wasn't impressive or a legend in his own right, but he and Hopsin have one big difference: slang. DOOM's lyrics are VERY heavy with slang, whereas Hopsin is very plain in his speaking. As people not as well versed in rap slang, Hopsin is just easier for us to identity with at face value.
