So Mom's shaking her head back and forth with EVERY response the INVESTIGATOR gave like there's this HUGE CONSPIRACY against her. Typical Substance Abuse Denial from an Addict. I know this to be True because 19 yrs ago my last name was Denial. Actually 19 yrs ago was my LAST and FINAL Rehab thankfully. It was my 7th Rehab. My Heaven's I was a STUBBORN Alcoholic and Drug Addict for sure. I've not touched a Drug or any form of Alcohol since 07/2004. I'm still an Alcoholic and Drug Addict. Just one that's in Recovery. I wish this Mother much Success in the near Future. It's HARD work but well worth the fight.

Wow that mother is high right now. And that case worker Isabel is incompetent and is embarrassing. She should be embarrassed even to be on there and acting clueless. And the judge needs to make that mother settle down and knock it off. That's the worst courtroom I have ever seen and lets people act like that.

IMO, judge needs to pick her battles. Mom is obviously out of it (likely high Or heavily medicated) during hearing. However it is better to allow her to be at hearing in any condition for the sake of moving the case forward. If mom’s condition at hearing is a result of prescribed medication for acute illness it might not be fair to hold the hearing. Postpone for good cause?

Geez, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for years and now we have to save up to somehow pay for IVF(which is really a pipe dream because its so expensive), but women like this get pregnant 5 times! Thats just so frustrating 😤

Ugh I remember this woman! I don't think it was on your channel, but i remember watching 2 or 3 hearings with her. I specifically remember getting aggravated and pissed off at this woman. I'll never understand anyone, definitely a mother, putting her baby in harms way.. especially with meth or tiget harsh drugs.

The investigator, cps attorney, gal and even mom's atty, were all professional and doing the best they could with dealing with this meth'd up mom. But the case worker is a hot mess, unprofessional and unreliable. She actually said "do what"? when asking the atty to repeat a question. A 12 yr old could testify better than her!

I thought the same. She was acting as if it were a joke, she shaped up some after that break. Her responses to her own attorney was terrible. Mom is a mess but have a feeling this workers will work harder against her. And no doubt they’ve put up with some crazy from mom but she should get a fair shake and if she shits on it, she’ll lose that baby.

You get what you pay for - churches tend to pay the lowest wages for frontline workers, as compared to government paid. Child protection is very poorly funded.

This is absolutely unreal, the mom actually said she knows other people who use meth while pregnant or afterwards, and she "knows" her allegedly de minimus meth usage didn't harm her children. Because of course she's a pediatric doctor and studied how much meth is "safe" for a child in the womb. If I was the Judge I would have recessed the hearing and ordered mom to take an immediate drug test. She didn't seem to understand very basic questions. She also clearly needs a mental health evaluation. At this point I don't think she's even ready for supervised visitation. Incredibly sad.

Agreed, Judge should have stopped the trial. The mother isn't able to answer any of these questions, the lawyer should have stopped the trial. This isn't fair to anyone.

Ms. Trevenio is not making any sense, keeps talking regardless of being told to wait for questions. She kept repeating she was dying. Mentioning a son they did not mention shows her mental incompetency. Just admitted to meth, her son was ok because it was not enough to make her son withdraw. Feel for her Attorney. Wow, constant talking and she keeps bringing up Marcus. Didn't know Isabella, then talks about what Isabella said. Doesn't know any of those people. She is so drugged up, she cannot keep her stories straight. Accusing all those people of lying is not a good thing. She just fell off her chair for crying out loud and nobody mentioned it. Would love to see next hearing.

Another addicted “parent” choosing active addiction over family/child(ren). The refusal to answer questions directly is a hallmark of active addiction, as are self pity and claiming you can’t remember anything but everyone trying to hold you accountable is lying.

2 hours once a week IS NOT enough visitation for a 2 week old newborn. CPS should be required to find someone who can supervise those longer more frequent visits. I have volunteered to supervise extra visits when I had foster placements because the very limited visitation they offer is absolutely absurd. They would only allow one hour a week most of the case and then want to use the alleged lack of a bond between parent and child for them to want to return to the child to the parents. The CPS workers I am familiar with often put families in a catch 22 where they are damned if they do and are damned if they don't.

If she's using meth she's dangerous to the baby. Full stop. So she has to pee clean before touching the baby at all. It's not anyone elses fault that nobody feels safe to supervise her

I can't even begin to count the times I have heard CPS lie, misconstrue, take out of context, etc about what parents allegedly told them. They often go into court and misrepresent facts in the case. Their sole interest is NOT always what is best for the kids in their care

​@OnTropolis The mother admitted in court that she used Meth while pregnant. The mother confirmed, on the record, everything that CPS stated. 1. She used meth while pregnant. 2. She used Marijuana while pregnant. 3. She didn't think she used enough Meth to cause the baby to go through withdrawal. I can't count how many times I've heard parents lie, misconstrue, take out of context, etc. when CPS finally gets involved.
