sounds like a bug to me, either it should re-display the destruction icon if the dupe can't finish the job, or they allow the dupe to finish the job

@@kentwillan it's an oversight for sure, but if it's intended behavior it's not really a bug. But I agree that it could be improved.

The deconstruction icon @ 36:15 - the icon goes away when a dupe starts the deconstruction process. What often happens here, and it did, is the dupe left before completing the deconstruction, in this case it was their assigned downtime that took them away. They will come back to finish.
@justinwalker52744 жыл бұрын
Have you ever considered going the micro-base route where dupes enter exosuits as soon as they leave their bedrooms and do literally everything else in a suit? Might be the way to go for these super hostile asteroids as the amount of space you need to cool will be tiny.
@EvilBoomer4 жыл бұрын
Great Idea. I do this thing in my next game, simple put a 4 exosuit+checkpoint to left and right outside the BedRoom. But for this I need more energy and oxygen, because I play with 48 Dupes in late game, but this help me also to get the last achievement for work for 10 cycles with Exosuit! :D

How do you get rid of the germs emitted by the electrolyzer with an input of water from the sieve?
@GrindThisGame4 жыл бұрын
put it in a tank and put the tank in a chlorine gas room. no need to kill them though unless you make food with it.

Hey bro, Im new to the game and I was just wondering about the endless loop of water in the bathrooms - at some point germy water gets pumped in the sinks- isnt that a problem ?
@S_Black4 жыл бұрын
Interestingly, no. They don't mind showering with germy water either. The germs do get into the air via the electrolyzer, but they die out in oxygen. If you're a clean freak like me, it's not too hard to build a chlorine chamber to disinfect the water though. That way the excess can eventually be put into the clean water pool. It's more of a medium term project though and depends on filling up tanks with water. So if you need the water back right away like here, it's not so good
