I wanted to clear something up in your and Emil's favor 😊 so the SpaceBotany blue dyno is at Minneapolis Bouldering Project. I've been to that gym. According to their website, a blue boulder is grades V6-8, so you were both correct. Not sure why OP said V5, that's purple. Unless I'm the one failing with colors here 😅 which is entirely possible.

The picture on the website doesn't show it super well, but there are other signs at the gym itself that show it a bit more clearly. The blues range from V5-V7, the purples go from V2-V4. I'm still struggling with some of the orange and black climbs that are in the V3-V6 range so I figured this one was a soft V5 at best. Gotta keep myself humble right?

To be fair, I think there is a difference between grading at the big American gyms and grading at smaller European gyms. The first climb they guessed would be around V5 in my hungarian gym.

Nah that V4 I had it at V3 coz those holds whilst looking intimidating were quite positive meaning you could just do the whole thing no legs if you wanted the colour of the holds though threw me off coz most Australia gyms use Black for the 2nd highest grade

What you said about Germany were actually my thoughts exactly: I came to Germany as a 17 year old US exchange student back in the early nineties and on my first day with my new host family we went to the beach, where inside of 5 min a lady changed her clothes, getting butt naked just a few feet away right in front of me. You two need to adjust the saturation, well Emil is good! CS camera just hurts the eyes! And dual text is just a hold or volume with one part textured and the other slippery! The last boulder had the holds on the no texture side that's what makes it hard! So it's a no text dyno! Calling it dual text dyno means nothing! I know, I'm nitpicking, but I like clarity!
