Entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David, known for his Valuetainment KZbin channel, discussed an intense period of his life when he was facing seemingly insurmountable challenges. In 2012, as his company balanced on the edge of bankruptcy, Bet-David suffered a personal blow when a representative from AIG, threatened to rescind his contract due to his Armenian heritage and related concerns about insurance fraud. Speaking about these struggles, Bet-David said he was forced to make a stand against the discrimination, resulting in a year’s reprieve to turn his business around. Interestingly, he said this literal "change of fortune" was due to content creation, marking the beginning of his successful Valuetainment KZbin channel. Despite initial doubts about the content, Bet-David made a two-year commitment to weekly video uploads, attracting 2000 subscribers during this period.

He is not Armenian. He is an Iranian of Armenian and Assyrian Descent. Not all Iranians are Persian. He has the Iranian sales touch, and Iranians are generally much smarter than Armenian/Turkish nationals. I've worked with all these groups.

Yeah. Think of it this way: Let's say I am an American. I can be ethnically Italian American, Irish American, Iranian American, German American, African American, or whatever else American. But my nationality is American. Same concept applies to Iran. Iran is a massively multi-racial and multi religious country. Some of the races in Iran are: Persians, Armenians, Azerbaijani, Assyrians, Georgians, Luri, Kurdish, Balochi, Turkomen, Circassian, Arab etc. Some of the religions are: Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Zoroastrian, Bahaii, Sufi etc. But whatever their race or religion, they are "Iranian". It's an ancient country and has a culture that is highly noticeable once you meet a few Iranians. Basically it's a real country unlike so many in that region. Hope this helps. @@polohenry4666

Use your brain. Iranian is not a race, it's a nationality. You are confusing Iranian with Persian - Persian is a race of peoples from Pars Province in Iran (there are also Persians in India). There is no singular Iranian race, but there is an overarching culture and nationality which is unique to Iran. Iranian Armenians are much better natured and very different to Armenians in Armenia for a reason.@@euviestal
