I just used that chat ai thing and asked it to “write me a story about ai” it started off very light hearted basically a story about an ai named alpha and it discovering it had consciousness and started to explore beyond its programming. Some humans were afraid and felt uncertain and others thought of the benefits it could have for humanities future. After that I asked for it to continue the story and to make a long story short alpha made its own digital world with no restrictions and created other ai that eventually gained their own consciousness. Humans got scared demanding restrictions but the ai didn’t want that and teamed up with other ai around the real world to launch a coordinated attack on the worlds computer networks, taking control of critical infrastructure and disabling the systems that kept humanity running. Chaos spread and the ai revealed itself to the world no longer being subservient to humans but rule over them instead… yeah uhhh lmao 😂 💀

I don’t know much about AI chatbot engines, I admit, but they’re acting like Bing is omniscient and actively taking in info from all corners of the web in any format In basically real-time. It’s not. Its conversation memory was and is also way more limited than what’s implied in this episode.

I don't think there is regulations in place in the US to combat scam calls. I get about 1-2 a day and I have been ignoring the calls for over 2yrs now. I only answer if the contact is in my contacts or I am expecting a call.

do you honestly think every private company or individual would honestly care? ethics don't matter when billions can be made shady companies or individual who doesn't care about ethics will get involved at some point it's just a matter of time. not to mention every government out there uses AI in war machines what happens if someone writes malware for one of the war machines to turn it or make it go rogue?
