There’s a great live version of this when PTX came back to perform on season 4 of the sing off. They sound incredible. It had been two years since they won the show and they’d really figured out their sound and how to arrange for their voices. Also fun to see how excited the judges were to be to see them back. Especially Shawn who runs up on stage to hug them all.

PTX was invited back onto the Sing-Off the season after they won, and sang this song on the Season 4 finale, the first time that Avi actually did a lead solo on the Sing-Off. Sing-Off was actually cancelled after PTX's win in season 3, but brought back in 2013 two years later, which was won by Home Free. After that season, The Sing Off was renewed for a fifth season, but at some point it changed from a series to a one-off special, introducing six groups at the beginning and choosing the winner two hours later. Again, though, PTX was brought back and sang a medley of Christmas songs. The Sing-Off winner of the fifth "season" (can you call something a season when it is only on for one episode?) was The Vanderbilt University Melodors.

Apparently, this was a requested song from The Sing-Off for their Season 4 finale appearance, so they had a flashback to their TSO days in putting together the arrangement in only a couple of days.

Great reaction! I'll bet many of the commenters below have said that you should check out their live version of this from when they returned to the Sing Off as guest performers. The judges, especially Shawn, loved it, and I think it was the first time Avi sang a solo on the show, which was very cool.

I can’t remember... have you done PTX’s version of “Cant Help Falling In Love” yet? If not, it’s worth it just to hear Avi sing that 3rd ledger-line bass clef A at the end! The chord is an A9; with Avi’s pedal tone A the.chord rings like an organ because of the overtones! Also, you should check out PTX’s version of Justin Bieber’s “Where are U Now” when they come in with the groove on the last chorus, it’ll knock you out of your chair! Great reactions! Enjoy the concert! I saw ‘em live on 7-3-2019 and hand-delivered music I wrote for them. I gave each member a packet with.CD and sheet music in two keys. KO, Scotty, and Matt promised to listen, but I’ve had no response.

While I love this version of the song, this is one of my least favorite videos - mostly because the pacing of the cuts disorients me. So I usually either listen to it, or watch the live version from their guest appearance on season 4 of the Sing Off.

I thought this was a bit manic....or over produced. Not my fav although the component sounds were good.
