Why is she giving the WOMAN grief over the deadbeat dad not paying support? 🤦🏼♀️
@nanjones3973 Жыл бұрын
She gave the woman grief because she tried to use him not paying child support as a reason she’s not paying the cable bill. She thinks deducting the cable bill from child support is appropriate when it’s not! And how is he gonna deduct it when the courts are already garnishing the set amounts from his check?!
@davidhavel8162 Жыл бұрын
@@nanjones3973 Yes, and more so. If the court has made a decision and has garnished wages on one of the parents, the other parent has no right to change how that support is being paid. She nearly doubled dipped. She didn't take him to court at first because she would have to pay, meaning the child was going without when in his custody. Then she gets him to sign her up for cable. She moves and leaves him with a bill over 1k. Meanwhile she decides she has her child more often and sounds like she changed jobs to a lower paying job. She goes to court and gets support, with back pay for the months he was paying for the cable. So she almost got away with it. but now she has to pay him back for the cable. Sounds fair.

Nonsense, just because she wants money that doesn't mean she would get them from a court. JM is totally correct, if you think you are owed money for child support, go get them. Unless you know the court won't reward you and use it as an excuse for nonsense. In this particular case, they share custody and the child spent time on both parents. Why would she get child support? She made more money than him and he had the child about half days each month. Then after she didn't pay her bills they fought about it and she decided to keep the child more days and the court ruled she should get 120 dollars = nothing. JUst because you are a woman that doesn't mean automatically you will get child support. The family court that rewarded her 120 dollars has already decided he doesn't owe anything for previous child support, why JM attack the father for that? Because the mother thinks he owes her?

Have children The WRONG order would be (1) date (2) have children out of wedlock (3) leave mother and child (4) get married to someone other than the mother of your child(ren); (5) avoid paying proper child support to the mother of your child until the court says you HAVE to do so; (6) sue in small claims court. There are no guarantees in life, but if one is interested in making wise decisions, start with the basics. That's the order, folks.

I used to tell the young men in my life that child support protects them. Establish it through the courts when you are still getting along because when if it gets bad, they will owe for ALL the years not represented through the courts. Some judges consider the direct payment a gift and WILL NOT count it against the arrears. Just do everything above board.

Yep!! Exactly! That’s why the country is so over burdened with having to pay for our careless citizens who keep having babies, even though they know dang well they CANT AFFORD THEM!! Why?? A few $ more on their welfare checks or a little more in food stamps! That’s crazy & will no way help pay for another mouth to feed, clothed, etc.! (Who suffers in the end? The kids do!!

The judge did the right thing. The Child support and cable issue are two separate things. Just because he’s behind on child support does not negate her from her duty of paying off the cable bill. This is why judge Milian is the judge and we are not. She can’t rule based on emotions. She ruled based on the facts of this case and the law.

I see the moms in comments are big mad over the verdict in this case but the case was not about child support it was about a cable bill cable😂 she owed him that money!

I felt Judge was too hard on her too, but she was just giving her some tough love. That stern but loving look she gave her at the end was very telling. She looked disgusted with him, which is probably why she didn't waste her breath telling him what he already knows

Everyone crying out here, especially women, about child support but this case was not about or before the judge as a child support case. This case was about the plaintiff making a contractional agreement with the defendant to have cable installed in her home which she would be completely & solely responsible for but then reneged on & caused the plaintiff to incur financial distress. The defendant owes the money, period & that was the only issue that was before this court. The defendant filed for child support 2 years after their separation & only because the plaintiff sought to recover his money for the cable installation. Apparently, everything was good prior to this cable issue & so the defendant didn't feel that a court-imposed child support order was necessary which suggests to me that the father was already willingly paying some measure of support for the child.

No he wasn't paying nothing, he could have paid that cable bill every month when she couldn't but he didn't and he could have had the account stopped when he first notice she hadn't paid
@dessean1 Жыл бұрын
The plaintiff was nice enough to hook the cable up for the defendant, which he wasn't obligated to do, but did so anyway because her credit was SHIT. All he asked for in return was that the defendant pay the bill but she couldn't even do that. You NEVER sign for a person who has Bad credit because they are usually irresponsible & users & they will screw you over just as they did the credit company. @@missa1goins

Many women pride themselves on that “I don’t need anything from my baby daddy” it’s not about you. It’s about the child. I want mine to have the absolute best life possible. Try a mutual agreement but if that’s not working then mediation or court is the way!

The lady to the left of the plaintiff and the one to the right of the defendant are absolutely lovely. That being said, more people world wide should just pay $70.00 a month for internet, and use FREE services like 'Tubi, Freevee, KZbin, etc.' to save money. Did wonders for me.
