If the child was raised properly, then he wouldn’t have touched another person’s property. And the mom said that she has no income, which is actually Welfare so she’s home. So why is she too damn lazy to watch her children? It all goes back on that unfit mother.

As parents we always want to believe our kids over others, and I remember when my son was 10 or 11 yrs old, my neighbor, directly behind us, politely told me that my son shot out their daughters window with a beebee gun. I asked my son multiple times and asked different ways to see if his story would waiver, he stuck to his story each and every time, and so I believed him because he really was a polite kid. My son's 25 yrs old now, and it wasn't until last month that we happen to be just talking about him being a kid, when that little shit confessed he did in fact shoot the window out. After so many yrs, I still felt embarrassed that I chose to believe a 11 yr old over a 30 yr old, especially knowing it was likely he had done it. So I went pulled a $100 bill out of the ATM, marched my little self over to the neighbors and handed it to them. They just laughed and wasn't going to take it, but I insisted they at least go out to eat or something, and by doing so it would make me feel a lot better. They did finally agree to take it, and I made my son pay me righ back! Lol!😊

Truly...proud of you for dealing with it even after so many years. I had neighbor bully-parents who egged their boys on to bully me when I was 20. Their loitering, lazy boys could not bear the fact I as a young woman worked hard and had bought a scooter out of my earnings to be able to run errands and save time. They hid behind their housewall, where I had to pass by as it was the only road in and out of the neighborhood, and both brothers who harassed and mocked and insulted etc. everyday, in a jealous rage rushed at me with their vicious dog. I nearly fell off my scooter, and had to get off. The bullies' parents watched with glee. I learnt that 30 years later one of them was and is a total drunk with never having ever worked a day in his life , living in that enabler parents' home !! The other one also lives in that very home with his wife and son on the top floor!! Their poor sister they used to bully and abuse escaped to another city.

Stop with the pity party “I’m a single parent “🙄 it’s so old! Then you don’t have any money? Come on! If the plaintiff hadn’t brought her to court she wasn’t going to pay. She should take some responsibility for letting her son go out and play without supervision. She should hold him accountable and teach him that you can be guilty by association and the fact that he could be identified because he wrote his name on the car. I think he and the little girl had rocks or real nails to scrape that car like that.

*”It’s Christmas time”* Buying Christmas gifts is not a necessity. If you had money to put aside planning to buy Christmas gifts, then you had money to pay this woman for your son damaging her car. Maybe if he has to go without something that he wanted for Christmas, that would teach him a lesson about responsibility.

Yeah, he already is. She's lying for him & coaching him to lie. He changed his story and said his friend scratched the car with her fingernails instead of with a rock, when the scratches were clearly from a rock. He also said he only "fingerpainted" his name in the dust, but it took a buffer to remove it. His behavior & lying is going to get worse, and his mom will say he's an innocent victim no matter what. Sad.

You're absolutely right. He sounded coached, a 7,8-year-old child does not use the sort of vocabulary that he used. Also him looking down and in various directions was to gain time for his mother to come up with more BS for his innocent "I was just writing my name in the dust" and blame the other kid. The girl's parents faced up to it right away. But this boy and his mother????? Thank the dear Lord and count your blessings for not living next to them. 8 years from now this kid is gonna break in to neighbor's vehicles and, if not, he'll steal their rides. The kid is definitely afraid of the mom and lying for her. Kids don't just sit and watch other kids doing something bad

Defendant shouldn't be laughing. Grow up and act like an adult. You are setting your son up for failure and that's not fair. Give him a chance in life. He's not a bad kid. Please help him to stay on the right path.

I remember when my Grandson Dominic scratched his brothers name into his moms car. It was only obvious who did it.. Lucas couldn't write his name yet.. 🙂❤️

The son said it all when he said, after we did it I told her it was a bad idea. He did it, and Mom knows he did it.

The defendant isn’t really making eye contact while she’s defending her son.

The plaintiff said the boy was outside but the defendant said she had taken the kids to school.

Who lets 7 year olds to run around outside without supervision? But when they get hurt or abducted, oh boy the whining begins. Take care of your freaking kids!

My son & his lil partner in crime were upset that we (the other mother & I) wouldn’t take them to the store & get candy so they looked around for a twig small enough that would fit into the car door lock so they could get inside and drive themselves, they were 5. What they succeeded in doing was jamming the lock. Littles cook up some crazy stuff 🤣🤣🤣

The little boy could’ve been telling the truth. We really don’t know. She doesn’t have $200 to give. That’s why she didn’t pay. If I was the lady and could spare $200 I would’ve made him come do things for me to “pay off the debt” like wash my car to teach him a lesson.

A way to teach him a lesson would havw been to take $250 from whatever his Christmas budget was, and repay her neighbor. He's old enough to know better, and understand consequence.

This is why I really don't like working with kids. Everyone wants to believe a kid is not capable of anything but adorableness and can't think for themselves 🥺🤣.
