Right. I’m so gat damn confused. The defendants couldn’t have possibly been able to take care of those children on their own, because it doesn’t make sense that they would NOT want the grandmother to have the children but they still leave them in New York with her for FOUR months, while still sending her money to take care of the same children. 🫤 It’s not making sense. It sounds like they need each other to take care of the children, and now they’re in court on separate sides of the room acting like they don’t.

They're talking about how she abandoned her children for 4 months but don't realize she had no idea how to raise children. Parents set an example for how their children should treat others and her parents were absent, of course she didn't know it was wrong to leave her kids with her mom, she probably needed to learn how to care for her children without nobody to teach her or set an example for her.
@oldageisdumb

@@youneedtostop That’s making excuses. There are plenty of resources out there. There are many children that come through the foster system that are outstanding parents. She ditched her children. When you love your kids, truly love them, you could never lose them for 4 months. That’s a natural instinct. And it sound like it wasn’t just 4 months, it was way more than that. I was a Children's Social Worker for child protective services for over 23yrs. Unfortunately, it's common for former foster youth to lean on the vary parent who abused and or neglected them for support because they do not have other connections/relationships with others who can help. That mother waited until after the hearing to all of a sudden call her daughter a "Crack head." If she believed that to be true, she would have stated that to Judge Milian." Sure sign that her intentions for keeping those children is not for the sake of their safety. Definitely other reasons.

I think the daughter was too excited to have her mother back in her life and wanted an instant familial bond. She trusted her to take the kids for a visit then trusted every lie that came afterwards. Even after everything she had been through she said after she got custody again, temporarily, her mother said “we’ll be a family” and there wouldn’t be any more custody battles. Having the daughter isolate herself from her own husband is another strategic move for emotional manipulation. She got played and because she’s in such an emotional state her mother is running circles around her.

This is that the apple don't fall far from the tree situation. It's very simple. All you do is GET THE MONEY FOR THE FLIGHTS and pick up your kids. Drive to NY and get your kids. That's it. Get a loan, get a second job, a third job, downsize, sell some of your valuables--WHATEVER--but go get your kids. You don't wait until the day of to say you can't afford to bring them back. If your mom has been absent from your life and you see that she's aggravated at you for leaving your kids with her, GO GET YOUR KIDS and take them home with you. If A judge is telling you he's concerned about your mother's history and doesn't want to give her custody-- GET YOUR KIDS AND TAKE THEM HOME. I mean...I can understand she finally has her mom in her life and she's trying to form a relationship, but those are your children. YOUR CHILDREN. You don't agree to leave them for two weeks and then say oh well, we'll figure it out. I would NEVER leave my kids with ANYONE like that for so long. A day or two maybe. Two weeks is too long especially them being so young. No way.

And her mom appears far more street savvy than her so it wasn’t hard to fool her.
