Nell, thank you so much for these videos! I suffer from endometriosis and adenomyosis and just got a reformer to continue movement with low impact since I can no longer do intense HIIT workouts. Your videos have done so much good for me physically but most importantly mentally and emotionally. Thank you so so much, I appreciate you.

We need to keep exercising but not all exercise is good for our bodies. Endometriosis is so painful. I’m so happy to hear you have found a workout that is good for you. Keep up the good work. Nx

Just got my own reformer! Nell has the best pilates videos on KZbin. I have been trying others, but keep going back. She takes you through a great workout with a variety of different exercises in each one. I have a bum ankle and knees, but it's easy to modify the routines. Her voice is the perfect combination of motivating and soothing. Thank you Nell!

Loved this one too! My Pilates reformer I use has the red, green, yellow, and blue springs. Do you know what those would be compared to your reformer with numbers?

Your heaviest spring is equivalent to 1 full spring in my workouts. Your medium spring is the equivalent of 1/2 spring in my workouts. Your lightest spring is equivalent to my 1/4 spring tension. I hope that helps.

In my vids 1spring = heavy. 1/2spring = medium 1/4 spring = light Spring colours vary depending on the brand. Hope that helps

Would be nice to explain your spring terminology. You 30min workout has full, half, quarter. This one has 2 and a half, 1.5, and myPilates Master has 1red, 2yellow, 2green and the spring bar can be moved to 3 positions. (Btw, love your classes)

I’m thrilled you love the classes! 1sp=heavy. 1/2=medium. 1/4=light. I don’t use colours because they vary depending on brand. Pull on your springs to feel for the strongest. That = 1sp in my videos. Then pull in the springs to feel the spring that’s a bit lighter then the strong one. That = 1/2sp. Then the lightest = 1/4. I hope that helps.

@@NellHoess Thanks Nell. Just to confirm. Our machine has from strongest to lightest 1 Red, 2 Yellow, 2 Green. Thus the all 5 would be 1 + 2x0.5 + 2*0.25 = 2.5 and the lightest is 0.5. Thanks again.
