I feel a lot rage for the pimps that threaten the young women with extreme violence or death threats. I hope the girl build up the courage to fight back with any means possible. After watching this I can see why some males do this to survive, no prospects for a good job, broken family ties, no real education to go anywhere with their lives. The society has certain lines/areas/geography that people from different social classes do NOT cross... Wow, such a profound thought to take away from this well done documentary. It's more visible in LA, I personally felt it when traveling/living there for 6 mths. Just a street away, I was in an affluent open community neighborhood, but the homeless & drugged up people just wouldn't (dare) to cross the street into the community. Growing up in Manhattan, it's less visible & hardly felt so, unless you enter the Upper East Side. I moved outta LA after 6 mths. Really didn't feel safe nor like it. Hollywood & pop culture paints much a nice image of the city, but the harsh contrast of the wealthy vs the poverty, the fortunes vs the misfortunes, was too much to bear for my conscious.
