You are so blessed to be able to chit chat with these guys and hear all their knowledge. My go-to is my mama for these kind of chats and knowledge lol. These life long gardeners are few and far between these days, and I love that you’re doing videos with them. I could listen to them talk about plants for hours on end!

No…thank you for making these videos! I’m in Fayetteville so your channel is the best for me because we’re so close and our weather is so similar. Only difference is we have super sandy soil, I have to amend my behind off to get my gardens to stay watered lol. Your channel is a wealth of knowledge for us in the southeast part of the US 💯 I don’t miss an episode!

What a terrific interview with Professor Werner. What a priceless fountain of plant knowledge. I could listen to him in his garden all day. He loves lilies like my grandma did. Her yard was FULL of all kinds of flowers. She had a huge bank of milk & wine lilies, which smelled so fragrant.

I have the same size yard as you do, Mr. Jim. I soooo want Golden Falls and, and it’s beautiful Ruby Falls cousin. I think it is appropriate for my yard as I live so close to Ruby Falls-Chattanooga. :)

I love the redbud when spring begins. I've seen weeping rubyfalls and others green foliage which I have one at the garden but I didn't know more breedings out there. I learn every day.

We planted a flamethrower and a forest pansy redbud tree last fall. The flamethrower looks amazing in front of the dark foliage of the forest pansy. My thirteen year old daughter loves flamethrower! I first learned about flamethrower from your channel. Thanks!

I’m so glad Dr. Werner mentioned that the green and white variegated varieties vary color change from year to year. I have an Alley Cat that certainly does. This year looks like I’m going to get a lot of variation. 🤍💚🤍

Here on gulf coast have several cyrinum and ive always pronounced it like Danny so when Jim I here u pronounce differently my feathers go up lol .. love this video! Again my flamethrower is doing great I’m so happy because it was an investment!!! Thanks so much!!!

I bought some crinum lily bulbs off ebay last year. Not cheap but there are a lot of varieties available there. Most of them are usually evergreen in zone 8 and 9.

They talked about the vigor of the golden weeper, called "golden falls" and the same is true of the one called "rising sun"....it is so aggressive that the limbs break from the weight of the foliage....
