+Mjuxtapose03 Sure thing! And it really depends on your foot. If you have pf, you should not be playing basketball until it is fixed and the pain is gone. Till then, I would try the orthotic on my site: www.pfsurvivalguide.com/insoles--orthotics.html Or go to the store and try on as many as you can and see what works for you. Expensive does not mean better. I hope this helps!

Do you recommend night splints?

what about if you over pronate and are flat footed? I've been told I need to keep wearing my orthotics.

Could be a postural issue causing that, usually originating in dysfunctional pelvic bone tilt. Or not. Flat feet, or even high arches, do not cause plantar fasciitis. If you have a leg length discrepancy, or something that warrants a special form of orthotic, then that works, but not with plantar fasciitis. Do you have any underlying disorders? Most doctors will say to stay in a orthotic, but its not going to fix your plantar fasciitis for the long term. It will make your feet very weak, causing more instability and more pain.

PlantarFasciitis SurvivalGuide I don't think I have any other underlying disorders. If I do I'm not aware of it. I've been told my knees go inward a little and my feet collapses inwards and over pronates. They say the only way to correct my "mechanical problem" is to wear orthotics for the rest of my life. Will heel raises and other straightening exercise keep my feet from becoming weakened my the orthotics if I have to wear them?

Instead you should fix that problem with structural integration, such as a postural aligment therapy. You can go to a rolfing therapist, which will move things around so that your pelvis is tilted in a more ideal position, so that your femur does not rotate excessively inward, and your knees do not collapse. I also have a video teaching how to fix pelvic posture. And heel raises are not ideal if you have plantar fasciitis. They are good for when your pain is gone. Pushing off with your toes is smart, but the best way to stregnthen those foot and calve muscles is to get rid of the trigger points. Trigger points in any muscle, make the muscle extremely weak.

Could you enhance the sound of video?

Oh bummer I tried to enhance it in this one! Sorry it did not come out how you like it to. Do you have speakers on your computer? Maybe it is low volume at the computer? I am unsure :( Sorry!
