thanks so much i an learning alot from this podcast and have listened to many episodes. i am now going to start making kombucha. i have been diagnosed with PCOS and my holistic doctor wants to me detoxify estogen. i try to eat to help liver detoxification. also, a test showed my gut bacteria was low. im excited to see the affects of drinking kombucha and kefir daily

Ok thanks ! I’m looking to purchase your sourdough starter tomorrow and would like to know if I have you get more than 1 because I’m trying to make 2-3 loaves a week !? Thanks...,

@@ibnuslaykum Hi Naim, you will only need one. as you continue to feed your sourdough starter it will grow and grow so with a few days you'll have triple the amount you starter with. So one will work great!

Hi Donna, I bought some kefir grains from you a couple of years ago. I have been making kefir off and on because I travel out of town a lot. My grains are looking pink. Are they dead? Also, I have been using lactase free milk and the kefir seems very runny, not creamy at all. Any suggestions>

Hi Ann, You can't use lactose free milk to make kefir unless you are adding some form of sugar or food for the grains. The grains consume lactose in the milk so without it they will have no food. the grains can start to turn pink if there is an imbalance. But this is from the lactose free milk.

I have been drinking raw milk kefir for three months and dealt with bad acid reflux one day I skipped it and it wasn’t bad the reflux I am very disappointed that this is happening do you know why and can I fix it ?

Hi Andi, This could be a healing crisis, or you might need to heal your gut first with other foods before introducing milk into your diet. Kefir is a very powerful food so you can go through a healing crisis for sure as the gut begins to heal and it can have a variety of symptoms.
