I'm not a baking expert, but from the moderate experience I do have in baking, I believe that your apple pie didn't turn out as well due to the fact that you did more of a jog-in-place rather than running. I always make sure to take a serious run on this step around the block when making pies. Hope this helps next time!

I did this with a recipe Here’s the original: Slice eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and transfer to a medium-sized bowl. Add mayo, butter, mustards, pickle juice, sugar, salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. Use a fork to mash well. Spoon filling into each egg white. Sprinkle with paprika and bacon (if using) and serve. If desired, top with a small slice of sweet gherkin pickle, as seen in pictures. And here’s the translation: Half an egg Put a white man in the oven. Butter mayonnaise, butter, mustard, kimchi paste, sugar, salt, pepper and unsalted spices with a fork. Works in Chile with background information (optional) If necessary, we recommend that you use a blanket covered with foam.

LOL, this was great. It reminds me of this speech that my dad used to give to high school and college kids. It was a speech about how to effectively communicate. As part of it he would pick a volunteer from the audience (usually a guy), and would have them sit down looking out at the audience and tell him to pretend he was a father of a 2 year old who was watching an "important" football game and had to talk the kid thru making a PB and J. Then my dad would play the 2 year old. The guy without fail would say "get the bread, and take two slices of bread" and my dad would tear the bread bag open like the incredible hulk tearing off his shirt and bread would fly all over the place (and the audience would go nuts with laughter). In the end my dad (and the table) would be covered in peanutbutter and jelly (they almost always forgot to tell him to use a butter knife), and would ask the guy how he thought he did. Then after the guy said good, he would have the guy turn around to see why the audience was laughing historically.
