This is probably the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I went 81 days without porn and life was amazing and the benefits are real. Those 81 days I want it to be my lifestyle for the rest of my life. I don't want porn to be a part of my life anymore. When I was young, I was involved in one of what would be two, inappropriate relationships with family members. For me, memories are my super normal stimulus - my "porn." When I'm in a state of mood distegulation , memories of incest flood mind to help me to disassociate from my painful circumstances. The dopamine rush is intense. Since this took place amidst the background of dysfunction, I became habituated to incest thoughts as a means of mood regulation.

I went for 8 months without porn before relapsing lol. I feel like this will be a lifelong battle but definitely possible. And yes, no instant gratification without porn but much more mindful, fulfilling and productive life. Dr trishs vids are useful for even addicts in recovery.

I don’t normally comment on videos but since I’m struggling right now I’m deciding to engage with the content in hopes it’ll give me an extra push. I once made it 70 days without P & M so I’ve experienced the benefits and I know how real they are. (not something easy to convince guys who haven’t experienced it.) Currently I take adderall for my focus and while it’s a godsend on some levels it does increase my compulsions on other levels. I tend to make a lot of plans for myself at the end of the day after work But after I do that, it tends to kill a lot of my remaining energy and things get difficult. Also I’m completely dependent on viagra whenever I have S. I want to experience life without it again. It’s the most difficult addiction to quit, And I’ve quit both nicotine and THC after years of usage. Setting an intention to get through today

Does staying away from for example a fetish on porn, with time cause you to change your attraction from the fetish to normal things such as sexual intercourse.
