In this video I get the Cam Towers back on, and then put together the front of the engine - the tensioning of the belt proved to be 'interesting'

Did you notice at a few seconds after this point 24:40 there is a drip from the engine, down and left from the tensioner.

I’ll check; I think it must be the tensioner leaking - wasn’t sealed at that point. And there were no other fluids in it.

Can I ask did you do anything to resolve/ restore anything to the bores which you said were shot ?

Apart from my homeopathic re-finishing nothing. My view was that if I need to get into bigger bores, then that’s bigger pistons etc etc - so I’ll see how crap it runs and then figure out what the best plan is. My current hope is that it may be a bit oil thirsty but relatively high functioning - we’ll see.
