Just out of interest, and you may have answered this in a video you can direct me to, but how did you get into powerlifting? Did you read a book? hire a coach? how did you learn the "correct" form? and how long did it take you?

I was lifting to support acrobatics and martial arts then looked up what the best strength exercises were. As I didn't care about looks or size too much. Then learned through KZbin and trial and error

Quick question if you don't mind. With the warm up on the bar. Would you do single rep warm ups ? Great work 🏋♂️
@HadynWiseman Жыл бұрын
I do 10 with the bar, then maybe 5 with the next weight, then 3s then 1s so it decreases as weights go up

It's not something I focus on too much I just try to lead with my chest and upper body first

Are Hatfield squats a good substitute if you do not have a belt squat?
@HadynWiseman Жыл бұрын
Yeah that would work pretty well

Any elbow problems with doing so much pressing work?

Not yet, I did have that before though and did some expand hand bands which got rid of it
