Whey protein is good to meet the daily requirements. But the thing is in Indian Market, most of the brands are adulterated. That's the culprit. Getting it from foreign country is the best option.

It is recommended to have 30 to 40g of protein per meal. But this is a generic recommendation. It is highly bio-individual and depends on the health goals and status of the person. The absorption depends on the bioavailability of the source of protein.

You can either include plant protein source or animal protein source. Make sure to include atleast two source of protein in each meal.

ICMR report പറയുന്നത് "recommended diatery allowance of protein intake is 0.83g/kg/day for healthy men and women " എന്നാണല്ലോ. മാത്രമല്ല 1.6g ൽ കൂടുതൽ കഴിച്ചാൽ അത് muscle building ന് help ചെയ്യില്ല എന്നും കാണുന്നുണ്ട്
