This grown lady lawyer got herself into the mess she's in. Her fault she ended up in prison. She likely was a rich lady and could have went to a treatment place on the outside why didn't she? That's addiction tho it doesn't care who you are or how rich you may be. The person needs to get the treatment for themselves no one can make them quit if they don't want to or it's too late.

I can't believe Ann is waiting till now to order that the men get searched before they leave the workshop. It should have been made standard procedure in the first place and if it had been then that gun would never have been smuggled out. Sam should be given credit and reduced punishment for giving herself up so soon, okay she had escaped and done what she set out to do and found her mum, but even so, she had a good reason for leaving and once out she could have changed her mind and decided to have made a proper run for it. We've learned a lot about the seriousness of coming off alcohol and benzos such as Xanax. Now we know that it can cause fatal seizures when ended abruptly. Many addicts and alcoholics suffered under horrific circumstances before dying with people close to them telling them to just have willpower to get through it.

Myra became more of a hardened character as the character developed although she was naturally a cold and calculating top dog . Her main objective seemed to be controlling the women and keeping order in a way that mirrored the Freak more then Bea . Bea was a lot more compassionate with junkies who were suffering , like with Donna and the girl Nola hocked . Glad they made Myra into a hard nosed bitch though as it contrasted with Beas more emotional nature and helped to distinguish two very similar characters . It'd be interesting to know if it was deliberate . As when Myra was in the series the first round she was a happy go lucky reform worker . Wonder why they couldn't have just cast Anne into a different role rather then write a different back story and persona for the same character .
@currankerman23494 жыл бұрын
She probably does not care as much if Grant dies it will make her job a lot easier . She’s used to seeing woman who’ve not had the same high quality of life as Grant self destruct , so probably has less sympathy and patience which is understandable in the context of a prison and prisoners she’s trying to protect as a whole .

It's kind of pathetic to think that the entire basis of Sam's character and her presence in the show was to pair her in a plot with that stupid frigging robot. Here in the U.S., there's a big profit motive for incarceration, too (CA may be worst of all in this regard). The prisons make money by how full they are. A judge was recently caught convicting and sentencing people to help a prison make money (and received kickbacks). (If the judge were turned into a her, they might've made an interesting character on this show.)
