Hi bro, I am having a little issue. What If I want this effect on a U-shaped Pipe? I want that pipe to start disintegrating from one end to another. But, what happening is - it is disintegrated in a parallel manner when empty is moved on an x-axis. From Parallel manner, I mean, whole Pipe is starting to disintegrate. Any help is greatly appreciated. I tried and lot and made quite a lot changes, but this is not helping.

Quick question, does this also work with Cycle? Also awesome tutorial! Perhaps you could expand more ideas with this disintegrating effect like Thanos Snap.
@thecgpatrick5 жыл бұрын
Yeah this can be done in Cycles as well. And Yeah Thanos Snap is Kinda Overrated Unoriginal already. I just took the Idea of Disintegration and added my creative approach to it using simple node setup which in this case I came up with Burning Dissolve effects... :) its good to have you as one of my Subs man! Thank you :)

So if I wanted to add particles to the noise texture, as in put particles in the "fire" emission part; how would I go about it? I have done it before but with a boolean modifier and actually disintegrating the object not the material... any ideas how to do it to the material? Great tutorial btw!
@petertremblay37253 жыл бұрын
How did you create the text since for me the effect is moving only on top of the logo and not in front but if i use a simple cube the effect is moving correctly. I have tried texture coordinate : object, generated and uv without success.
@thecgpatrick3 жыл бұрын
Try deleting the empty control then replace it with newly created empty object.
@Vickey3Dmotion4 жыл бұрын
Hey man, your tutorials are insanely awesome and I'm so lucky that I fond you today! :D This effect is really cool but reminds me of a problem that I couldn't solve. I'd like to fracture a text object to destroy it or to reassemble it. The problem is that the blender cell fracture always makes a complete mess out of the text. In Cinema4D you can easily fracture text with the Voronoi fracture and there are no seams. But in Blender you see every seam, inverted normals, materials getting ignored, some parts of the text are missing etc. A solution for this would be highly appreciated!

can you add particles folowing the emissin like sparks ???

Would be cool if it would work like you show - but it never does as you show and I tried it 1:1 like you did and I checked several times that I did 1:1 100% the same with the same settings 100% like you did!
@thecgpatrick4 жыл бұрын
How does your output look like? Make sure you change the material blend mode to alpha hashed. In texture coordinated node reselect the empty control.
@Sven-Wagner4 жыл бұрын
@@thecgpatrick I set the mode to alpha hashed and I added the empty. But the best result is that the empty just effects the edges of the object, not how far it's disappeared. So copy your animation I had to animate the black/white in the color ramp - only that way it disintegrates somehow.
