I have to agree with so many others…. Your videos are awesome. Especially the length and how the information comes across. No 16 minute videos of people rambling. These aren’t Michelin dishes where a 20 minute video is needed. This is great, solid home cooking. Awesome work

I like to always leave a bit of pasta water in the pot, so I can mix it with the cooked pasta and a tiny knob of butter, for my stroganoff. It works nice with meat and mushrooms on it.

I am Ukrainian and we always add to beefstroganoff fine strips of salted or marinated gherkins. It brings another level of flavour. It works very nice with rich sour cream. ))

Hey Joel, my mother gave me a then old cookbook about 50years ago that had an ‘authentic’ Stroganoff recipe; it calls for chopped raw onion to go with the parsley garnish…like a gremolata without the lemon… it really works to offset the creaminess and my extended family now considers it mandatory with a Stroggie! 😅

I have noticed people make comments not just here but other channels about recipes being under 5 minutes. I find it interesting because KZbin have videos of varying lengths for everyone. If you don't like long videos you can look for short ones. If you want longer ones you can find that too. I have not had difficulty finding either one. Sometimes I will find a short one here and if I want more in depth then I will look for a longer one. Happy options for everyone. 😃 This is one of my favorite childhood recipes my mom would may every "blue moon".

Joel my good Aussie friend, great recipe & fairly simple & quick to make, right now I will use top choice sirloin, tenderloin cost has really went through the roof here lately, I always use stocks instead of broth( mostly sodium) & a question since you are French, do you you prefer sour cream or creme fraiche' ? as that price has reduced to near sour cream prices here, also some frozen peas & crusty French bread with real butter as sides, Cheers Mate !

If the meat is less tender, cut the strips a little thinner. I love crème fraiche but I also like the sourness of sour-cream in this dish. Enjoy Steve!
