Thank you so much! The focus on the hip placement during the balance posture today was extremely helpful. Also, the love and forgiveness section of the closing prayer made the practice feel more meaningful. It was a great way to start the Day. Thank you again

I finally understood what 'squaring the hips' actually means! Aparently I have more mobility in the hip joint than I thought! Thanks Kino, you are a very inspirational teacher!

Thank you for this Kino. I fell in love with ashtanga however, I do not live in a place where I can go and be taught in person, and I have tried so many KZbin courses and I always ended up kind of hurting myself, because I just couldn’t understand the alignment instructions. You have made this wonderful and accessible. You are amazing and I know bad after I have done this series that you have developed another 1000 times lol I will be really good at it bless you and thank you.

This was very good, and even though it is a modification for beginners, it is very challenging. Thank you for breaking it down and your good vibes so we can look forward to one day in the future been able to do the series with your grace and strength instead of wobbling all over the place and looking rushed 😂

Thank you Kino. Just curious. Is yoga your primary form of staying fit? Do you do other activities? I'm only asking because I'm a 42y/o Army vet that is used to running and anything high intensity. My body does not allow me to do that anymore and I'm glad that I found Yoga. I'm just wondering if yoga is enough to keep my body (and of course my mind) strong. Thank you for any input.

Yes, happy to add in a slower pace. The class itself might end up being longer though :)

@@KinoYoga I never could experience the Ashtanga Yoga in mindful way because it's so fast that I'm not able to connect with my body , mind and breathing because of the fast nature of it. I think do it in a slower pace at the beginning will help me to experience Ashtanga Yoga in the mindful way and find the space in this practice as well. I never could find the slower version of it anywhere , I went to different classes and videos and they all really fast. I'm thinking in a time when I connect to the practice and built the strength up , then faster should be good and then still in a mindful way. My style of Yoga is Raja Yoga so it's little bit different but love to learn Ashtanga for a long time. I think longer is good or you even you can break one session (surya namaskar 1) in two sessions with the slower paste? Your more expert but I think this is help lots of people to buildup this practice and don't feel overwhelmed at the start. And at the end thank for letting us to communicate with you. this is really mean a lot for us :)

Hi from France again !! Thank you for your great vidéos ! Just a quick question, about pace, cause sometimes you seem to practice very fast , and it's difficult to follow you keeping a steady breath, i feel i should slow down to respect my own rythm, or should i hang on to yours ?

Hi! I’m not Kino but I’m pretty sure you can slow the practice down if it goes too fast for you, she usually goes slower. I’m guessing this fast pace is so you learn to breathe deeper, try it out! I also thought I couldn’t follow the rhythm but you may surprise yourself!
