Thank you for your expertise, question, when i print checks and have 2 of the same company the QB add them and makes one check only, i dont want that, i want two checks, how do i do that, thank you again.

You would have to pay them separately in the Pay Bills function or print them separately if these were checks you created outside of the Pay Bills function.

How can I add the beginning balance for the bank reconciliation? We are new to Quickbooks and need to do our first bank rec. Thanks

Mitzy Tompkins you can add it in the detail for that account (edit the account) or you can add it in the register for the bank account.

In QB desktop, is the check register automatically populated by bank feeds?

Susan Mulloy nope it’s not. You have to accept the transaction first. However, if you set up a bank rule to have them automatically entered they will be

I recently updated my QB's Pro to 2020 and now my current date line (the blue line that separates the current date from future dates) is missing. I am assuming there is a setting somewhere to turn this back on? Thank you.

That is a really good question I hadn't noticed before! I did some research and cannot find a preference to turn that on and off. You can have QB warn you if a transaction is more than a certain number of days in the future. Thinking maybe this is a glitch that will maybe get updated with a future update?

The Quickbooks University Thank you. If I ever get clarification I will let you know. QB’s tech support is not the greatest. I’ve been on with them twice for 45 mins+ each call to no avail.
