Did play 2100 games in my Mutz and have 2 marks.... it is good... but it feels like it sometimes needs bit more dpm, armour, gun handling... but it does its job!

normally you get the tank to work rly good after 200 games or abandon it at 100... but you dont play 2100 games and still say its need a buff HURHUR

well i probably say it wrong way sorry, i mean playing in 1v1 situations against other t8 meds and tanks overall is always bad for mutz from my expirience (i am good player)... for example most t8 meds have much better dpm and way way more hitpoints....so it sucks that way, or those that have worse dpm have better armour (sup. pershing or fv) and you count on bouncing 1-2 rounds and also having less hp.... my point is it is good only as support tank and even then if you want snipe for example dispersion is 0.36... and that is not that good at all for sniping.. .again saying from expirience i definitly dont think it is good as qb says but it is not bad... it lacks behind other meds at t8 in most situations... so i do think it needs some buff at dpm or hp or better dispersion or something... especially since last op premiums... not overal buff in everything ofcourse, that would be stupid... hope you understand what i want to say... and i love my mutz dont worry ;)

First thing I thought of when Quicky mentioned blaring weakness was the Excelsior, 30mm sides, box turret (Granted if you angle you're gonna bounce a lot), flat front that is hard to use because the shit tracks come over the front sides, unreliable pen going against anything higher than teir 5 and high explosive 105mm are the bane of its existence (That and clickers)

Panzer 58 Mutz and The Black one is two of my favorite tanks. They are great fun, earn a lot of credits and they are fairly easy to use in most battles :) Congratulations on your 3rd mark QB! I only got two on mine, but still hooping to get there someday :) Nice video as always! Love from Denmark!

I absolutely love the Mutz. It's one of my most played tanks ever, and it just never gets old. I have however recently favored the M 41 90 GF Black Dog, as it has just become even more fun to play with the new mm system, but I still play the Mutz often and I always enjoy it :D

One of my favourite features of the Mütz is its terrain resistance. It just floats across water and swamp without loosing any speed or maneuverability. It's still my favourite medium premium tank. Love the thing . .

I have the Schwarzpanzer, the black edition of the mutz. Phenomenal tank, especially since the Black edition gives a constant x5 xp bonus. The tank itself I feel lacks the frontal armor or just slightly below the maneuverability that I would like it to have.

I don't have the PZ58 Mutz. I have encountered it on many occasions and I can't say I ever felt particularly threaten by it as a tank. No more than any other tank. I never had particular problem defeating it, penetrating it, etc. Not saying that this means much, just that I never say anything interesting enough about it to even consider getting it. That hasn't changed. But, I did like how so many snapshots went straight in. Thank you for sharing.

I feel like this tank was a bad omen, almost like a test run to see if they could even get away with not making premiums slightly worse than their normal counterpart. The biggest premiums that came before this tank were those Australian tanks with the phallic machine gun ports, and they were the last brand new premium tanks released that were not as good as or better than their same tier counterparts. When they realized that paying players didn't care, they went ahead with the Skorpion G which was the beginning of the end.

the three caliber rule just say that when the shell caliber is more than 3 times thicker than the armor it will not ricochai(?) but it most pentrates the hole relative armor thickness + tracks so you will not penetrate every time

I have around 600-700 games in the mutz as back in the day, it was my only t8 premium as I was not good enough to do tournaments and I did not have the money to purchase any. It was gifted to me by a friend. It was a great money maker, but I picked up other tanks like the M4A1 Revalorise from tournament gold, the FCM 50T from the WGLNA Scavenger Hunt and some others, and I seem to like those more. I've also moved on to Tier 9s and Tier 10s, so when I want to really drop down to t8s for credits, I hop into the FCM 50T for the preferential MM.

I like my mutz (also have 3 marks) but in hindsight I regret getting it over the cdc. The cdc arguably has a higher potential with its better mobility, better dpm and smaller target when hull down. That being said You cannot go wrong with the mutz. truly a jack of all trades

That position is rather nice...if no one goes there. I've seen plenty of medium tanks and light tanks going to D6 and it's basically game over, because they spot the entire team on C and B line and unless you suicide to kill him, the match is lost. The only way to prevent this is to advance through the south of the map and hopefully snipe D6, something a good team will not let happen.

Most important thing to know when grinding for that third mark is finding out what makes your % go up. As i found out through trial and error, AMX 13 75 favors spotting damage, about 5k per game will get you to the third mark easily. But with the SP1C it's entirely different. With SP1C you want to deal damage and get kills more than spotting. Same with the Conqueror, you want to deal damage and get kills. Spotting will get you nothing and blocking damage will get you nothing, but about 4.5k+ damage done and at least 3 kills per game will get you to your third mark fast.

Hey Quicky, I think arty shells are no longer absorbed by dead tanks... pretty sure I´ve hit some wrecks before and still did splash damage.

death tanks don't absorb splash from arta, you still get some dmg, specially now with higher splash radius.

Since the new patch, I have also re found the Mutz. I have been having some very very fun games with it. I am not a stat hog so having fun games is what I am after. Playing the Mutz has kept me from feeling like I have just been getting my butt kicked all day. Worth it... I do like the new match maker. Only three top tier tanks makes it quite less painful on the bottom. You can contribute more than just being a free target.

I sort of disagree with rating. Mutz is likely better than any regular medium, but i like pilot more due to superior gun handling (even thou i use food on mutz) and at least some armor. Just personal preference. Mutz is more flexible ... yeah, but ... there's a problem. Best light tanks (e.g. wz-132) excel in viewrange, flexibility, spotting damage and can achieve higher winrate. Even their damage is comparable with with worse tier 8 mediums, except tvp which is completely underpowered. Would you rather play mutz with 1300dmg/650spot or wz-132 with 1150dmg/1100spot? So in my opinion regular tier 8 mediums are not worth playing at all. Mutz is ok, but being ok in class that is underpowered and obsolete at tier 8 does not mean much :-(

Love this tank, it's one of my most played. Have 1 mark but no Ace for some reason. Probably YOLO too much in it. 😁 I DO have a Steel Wall in it though! Which was fun in a tank with paper armor. I should probably upload that game sometime.

But the Mutz has no painful ass grind and is much more maneuverable than the Indien. I'd say the Mutz was very, very borderline overpowered compared to its counterpart. (Overpowered in WoT context does not mean "unstoppable" it just means "better than it's non-premium counterpart").

Mutz marked the point where premium tanks stopped being novel and quirky (like the KV-5, Wolverine, TOG) and just became boring re-skins that were better than their non premium counterparts, Defender, STA-2, Patriot, Mutz, Chrysler, Berlin Trio, List is endless.

The Pz. 58 Mutz is still good in all situations especially with the new MM. Unlike the past where one tier 8 can be matched with an entire enemy team of TDs and your team wants you to scout. That is very awkward considering that some Tier X TDs can one shot you.

Speaking of 30mm of side armor, I once got really unlucky to bounce a 122mm shot of the flat angle of that tank.. it was sideways on shooting at our Leo PT and I pop out to take a shot, and it bounces clean off the thing! I was using my KV-3, which even at that angle can hit weak points. and it was sideways on to me! So how did it bounce? It was kind of a good news bad news situation, I bounced the Pz 58 Mutz, but I ammo racked the M103..

I am pretty sure that it is no longer true, that HE shells are fully absorbed when hitting a wreck of a dead player. At least the stun will still happen, but I think the splash aswell. At least that's what my experience in Ranked Mode has taught me.

MoE is the average dmg+assist of your last 100 battles has to be 95% better than the average for that tank in last 14 days. So if the average is 10k you would need 19.5k to get the third mark. If I remember correctly...

when i have bad MM on my T25 Pilot 1 and there are no light tank, then I play like scout and it works everytime with +6k combined :D

I have the faint memory that the Berlin quartet was released before the Mutz .So I would say that the IS2 and the Cromwell Berlin were the first tanks that followed WG's new premium tank doctrine. The Cromwell B is better than the Cromwell because it has the same stats and earns money. The IS2 is better than the IS because it earns money and has better armour.

I prefer the M51 super sherman (the real name of the M4A1 Revalorisé). I got both of them, but I never really catch up with the Mutz gameplay. In the other hand I always loved the M51, even before the buff

My biggest problem with the "obvious op premiums" is they don't over OVERweighted MM, ie: can't ever face tier 6s. Whenever, I see a object 252 and I've got a short 88 tank I just cry softly.
