Quieter muffler for Predator 212cc engine? Sound Test

When I was a kid I wanted the loudest pipe possible on my mini bike. Now older I want the quietest one possible to ride places I’m not supposed to me riding in lol

It's been done before but get a muffler for a 49cc china scooter it will make that engine even more quiet but may be restrictive im going to be getting one soon for my predator powered alternator generator and may be building another one in the future for use in a camper

I would think the 49cc muffler will be pretty restrictive like you said, but if you're using it in a generator situation, having it be that much quieter might be worth the power loss from restriction

@@ballhammerindustries maybe get a gy6 scooter muffler. a 150cc gy6 muffler shouldnt be too restrictive.

If you destroy this one... buy a mini bike header and get a small car muffler. Im doing this right now as my HF chipper killed the stock muffler. The mini bike header you want is heavy wall pipe... mine was painted black with a slash cut tip and maybe $15ish total. The heavy wall pipe is what ive built turbo manifolds out of and it's basically required in these high exhaust temp/high vibration applications. It's a great cheap starting point for a custom muffler setup. Might also be able to get a cheap/free used OEM motorcycle muffler. The Japanese V-twin bikes all have oem mellow exhaust.

Glasspack/Resonator should work better with 0 resistance to flow.

It does seem quieter, so if you're after as much noise reduction as you possibly can, then yes, but it's not a HUGE difference, so for the money it's a so-so investment.
