It's still an absolute classic banger though. It's a three-part curse disguised as kindness, which is the best kind, of course lol. It goes like this: May you always live in interesting times. The idea is that they all sound like great things on the surface, but they're all actually terrible, horrible fates in a "be careful what you wish for" kind of way. "Interesting times" are almost always also tumultuous, stressful, even dangerous. "Important people" describes law enforcement, high-power lawyers, gang leaders, etc., as accurately as it describes celebrities, royalty, etc. Finally, if you find what you're looking for, what do you do after that? If you have nothing left to strive or work toward, what's the point of continuing to live?

I know this is random but I wanted to tell someone. So a few days ago I was on my bed facing a wall (my phone charges weird) with my very loud headphones. My dad walked in and asked if I saw a cat walk-in, I said no and went to the bathroom. I remember when we got my other cat he ran under the bed. So I grabbed my phone and checked and low and behold a blond cat hiding under the bed. My dad opened a can of tuna and I slid it under.
