How many times did Poki yell in this video Thank you to Sakuraco, use Code “RNJ” to get $5 off for your first box here: team.sakura.co/racheljunadventures-SC2301 . Valentine's Bliss box available until Feb 15th! Somehow with every project I end up wanting to give up about halfway through, but I'm always glad I stuck them through! I'ma say that's about 95% thanks to you guys, because if I wasn't making videos about them I probably wouldn't have the motivation to finish, haha. Unexpected youtube benefits?? It feels sooooo nice to have our exercise room all cleaned out and set up nicely, and we've found that we really like the new spot for the cat tower these past few days! Would love suggestions for a custom cat tower design to put in our exercise room window, or tips on how to prevent thin mirrors from turning into carnival funhouse mirrors 😭

I have a similar grid of mirrors and after a while you won't notice the irregularities and instead your eyes will just get used to how open the room feels. So don't feel bummed out about it at all. It came out really well. If it really aggravates you, you can break up the effect by hanging some high end artificial vines or other irregular shapes nearby so your brain isn't confused by the right angles of the grid itself. But I would just leave it. Well done!

Thanks for sharing Rachel! I enjoy watching your projects, in this one you looked like you needed a hug mid way through when things didn't go exactly as planned. Its nice to see it step by step, and have the reality that sometimes things don't exactly line up and that's okay. What you did looks good and I think the cat tower fits really well in its new placement. The kitties seem to like it, and I imagine they will enjoy it when you make them a cat tree for the exercise room.

Pichi cuddles at the end were so cute!!! I've seen furniture restoration channels use mineral spirits (an organic solvent) or even a cloth dampened with water to check how wood can look before staining and sealing them. You wipe a little bit on the wood and it will simulate how it looks after staining and lets you check if you've sanded everything correctly or if marks are still there. Just make sure you let it completely evaporate first before sealing.

I was getting a bit worried bc Jun uploaded two videos, while rachel was kind of absent. Hopefully both are taking good care of themselves. And hopefully Rachel doesn't pressure herself too much with her projects. In the end, it should be about being happy about the projects.

Poki is the clingiest because he knows you rescued him from a bad situation. Same situation plays into his food addiction.

hehe 'the best thing about winter is she gets cold' - i hope Pichi is all snuggly and warm with you now!!!💖💖 also i am very impressed with how you kept with the project and tried to make it better (even if it turned out to be more work), i have yet more of a 'ugh sigh good enough' attitude 😹😹

Poor Rachel, she just got Tiktok’d. Never trust something that seems a child can make. They always show a completely different finished product. 😢

I can relate to Jun about folding clothes. It's more convenient to toss it in the dresser

Why not put the cat wheels on the exercise room so you guys can exercise with the cats together 🤔

Actually amazing idea. Cats like to do what humans do so this would work.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has a cat who screams. My girl Luna (aka Looney Tunes aka The Lunar Landing) is also an ex-street who likes to yodel. She supervises all of my household projects. Everything turned out beautiful!

I know your pain of thinking something will improve the project and it just makes more unnecessary work. Your dedication to near perfection of your projects is motivating. And your results are always stunning. Congratulations on a beautiful mirror wall. ❤

Just to say hi from England and I really appreciate your channel. I love cats and am in love with Haku, Nagi, Poki and Pichi - also soooo chuffed to see how far Pichi has come! 🥰🥰🥰 I’m in awe of your DIY skills Rachel, you’re a real inspiration and also love Jun’s cooking content. I love these videos because I find them so relatable. I am often over ambitious in my crafting projects. And sometimes it works out really well and sometimes I just have a breakdown and hate the thing that I end up making. Rachel, you do such great work.

Want to recommend those cat hammocks that you can stick and fix onto a window for your exercise room! I think having a floor-to-ceiling cat tower would block the perfect view you have there on your treadmill and also makes the door harder to open... if you only have a few hammocks attached to the glass door that will probably save the problem of opening the door (and luring cats to stay there while you exercise!)

I think Poki still have a stray cat mentality? its the same with my cat , the cat that taking care since baby and cat who strugle in the street before I adopt them are very different, the ex stray always hungry and wanted for food, like theynare scared of being hungry, while the house cat since born are pretty chill and understand the feeding scheadule. its been 5 years and they still like that. Anyway great make over, Im always amazed with rachel creativity and hardwork with diy and furniture, 👏 you guys have the house almost the same time like I do, and also building everything from the scratch, I learn and inspired by your aesthetic and planing also because I have 4 furbabies, but I only use Ikea products, never dare to made my own Im to scare to ruin them haha
