Rachel I always use honeycomb menudo but I am careful not to over cook it bc it cooks in less time as the other kind. You cooked yours for two hours? Wasn’t it too mushy? I love your channel, u are a natural born teacher, a gift our Lord gave you…thank u !

This really looks delicious. We have it at Christmas n tamales as well. Again on new year’s. Use to after coming home from New year’s dance, we’d all go to mom n dad to have daddy’s menudo. Miss those days. No more dancing but my husband makes the menudo n no more dancing but maybe a little at home. We’ve gotten old n with all the aches n pains we’re limited. Lol. My late husband used to love Indonesian Tripe Soup called Soto Babat. When we would visit his mom in Holland, he would buy it at the local "toko" or Indonesian deli. Our former neighbor, Sarita, in Arizona made him some Mexican tripe soup one time, and he really enjoyed it.
