I use the rays original no sugar added… it’s delicious! Totally agree abt the calories… if 5 calories really makes you worry then you have something to really worry abt… lol

These are both good.I think with the Hughes, its the smokehouse that's taking away from the sweetness. I've tried their other flavours and they are sweeter. As an aside, I really like the Hughes sweet chilly sauce; definitely worth a try, especially with potstickers.

We LOVE the no sugar added Rays so much we use it nightly with our chicken haha. I prefer the original to the hickory but they are both delicious. When we found and tried the NSA Ray’s, we gave away all the GHughes in our pantry to a friend 😂 Definitely recommend trying the “original” of the Ray’s NSA if you see it! So glad you found the Rays and were able to try it!! Fun comparison too! Thank you!

Ray's is healthier as far as the sweetener goes. G.Hughes uses sucralose which is an artificial sweetener that should be avoided as it leads to gut health problems, unfortunately. OTOH Ray's uses allulose which shares none of the drawbacks of sucralose. Sucralose is man made and allulose is a natural sweetener found in small amounts in a few foods.

I’ve also bought both and like them both. It is so fantastic these are readily available now. The American dream, in my opinion, is choices! I do wish they were sold in those squeeze bottles with the very pointy tip (like ketchup was served in at Burger King, etc, decades ago). I personally can enjoy a minuscule amount of sauce on most things but geez, it globs out and dipping is hard to control as well sometimes. I just need to use a funnel and transfer the product into a squeeze bottle. Adapt and overcome! 👍🏻

I love the G. Huges Sauces due to its low calorie content. My fav is the sweet and spicy...so far. Will definitely have to try.😋

We used to use G Huges. When we first tried the Ray’s, we gave away all the G Huges in our pantry and stocked up on Ray’s instead 😅🤭 Hope you get to try the Ray’s and that you enjoy it!

Thats funny! I was actually in frys the other day and saw these both on the shelf and wondered how they compared in taste..then you come out with this video 😅 I've always gone with the g Hughes one though because its my go to brand and it kinda bothered me that the rays was slightly more calories lol but I'm definitely trying some of the rays once I run out the g Hughes 😊 Thanks for reviewing these tami!

You either going to hate or hear me out. BBQ sauce with no sugar I don't get it. I can't talk on it never tried it. Though at end of the day who knows might be good on some ribs and brisket. I used G. Hugh’s the other day. I thought it was too watery. It didn’t cling to the chicken at all. I could barely taste it. I’m going to try Ray’s next.
