The updated look to the STO works a lot more successfully than the original. I can tell that Tim doesn't appear 100% convinced about it - perhaps because it's more Stradman spec than Shmee, but the bright neutral white pops against the deep viola without seeming to compete against it as the yellow did.

Not sure if it's just the video image, but the roof still looks to be angled up. I believe you can get an extension for the rear carrier mounts to raise the rear a bit to totally even it out.

I love the roof box, but you should cut the crossbars to be narrower and have the suction cups more underneath the box to make it more sleek/look like it's floating.

STO- I initially didn't think it would make much difference when you teased it early. After the full reveal, I like it! I like it way more than I thought it would. I'm not crazy about the pink/purple but I think the white makes it tolerable. The guys did good.

Hi Tim , on your roof box could you not have the double suction cup on the rear and single at front , you could then move the front bar further forward which would still lower the front of the roof box . Just a thought 🤔

I've noticed when people have the pleasure of owning more cars in the 100k plus to 1 million plus price range they become very aware of colors and details to have their look and not have others have the same. It becomes more about the paint details and interiors than the car itself as a machine. It's a nice place to be in life but from the outside, it's hard to comprehend as I see a pattern in car collections and wonder when it happens or why it happens.

I loved the yellow highlights on the STO, not so much the white, which isn't bad, just not my preference. But colors are subjective and at the end of the day, the only persons opinion that matters, since he owns the car, is Tim's!

I'm surprised the roof rack manufacturer doesn't have a spacer kit available to go between the suction cups & the rods. They must have run into this issue in the past. A machinist might be able to make a simple spacer from Al or Ti. Probably has scraps laying about that could be used.
