Best band of all time.. The discography...the song writing...that incredible variety and versatility...the all time good riffs...the pioneering...and on top of that, Hurricane Cornell on the vocals blowing it down catagory 5 style... It gets no better... Good review guys !! 👍👍

This song just makes me cry. I know it’s probably not about suicide but that’s how I take it personally because of the way Cornell delivers his notes, and some of the lyrics might suggest so. And as a suicidal person I can relate

That is the beauty of music we all get something different. And I pray you tallk to someone as depression and suicidal thoughts are not anything you need to go through alone. This life is hard, trust us we know and go through it.

I think it's safe to say that Cornell had a few Beatles records. As I've said on the channel a couple of times, in my opinion, Soundgarden is the best of thegrunge bands. Nice review, guys.

Such a great tune. You guys really need to react to Badmoterfinger and Superunknown. Two of the best rock albums of the 90s.

Dan Finkel: agreed, the earlier stuff especially Badmotorfinger is a classic imo, and put in some Alice in Chains there as well, pretty popular atm on YT and the reaction channels.

Sounds like we need to give them a listen. Thanks guys!

Hi guys...listen to this one a few times...each time was better. Love Cornell’s voice. Going 8... outside the fact that Spoonman was my go to song for the the better part of a year 25 years ago.

Never heard this before. Trey, I agree with you about the heavy dark lyrics and the music reflecting the heavy dragging sound throughout. I agree with you Shawn about the strong vocals. To be honest, I wasn't too thrilled about the song. Trey's score is high at 8.0. Shawn's score is lower at 7.2. I would be more at Shawn's score and rate it a 7.0. There are so many styles of music. Everybody has a personal preference.

I'm still always amazed when anyone in this day and age admits that "this is the first time I've heard this song", and I thank God that I've been listening to this band since day 1, or at least "day 2"..... by far my favorite Soundgarden tune......... glad you got there, as they say, always better late than never.....

Always feels weird to bump into just one song off of Badmotorfinger, Superunknown, or Down on the Upside like this.... I'm always waiting for the next track, given that I always listen to those *as albums* LOL Do young'uns these days even get the idea of a body of work presented as an album, & best absorbed in that manner, anymore?
