How do i clean syringe with water? thanks

You can usually pull the syringe plunger out and clean it by rinsing it. Allow to dry then reassemble. You will find the pigment ink will eventually cause the syringe to get harder to pull/push so replace at that point.

Hi I’m already using your refill system for my Canon Pro-100S When re-using the CLI-42 cartridges you need to flush them before refilling with Octoink. Also, you need to create your own ICM profiles because the ink is not 100% the same as the original Canon ink - this works fine and has done for almost two years now. Looking into upgrading the printer to a bigger/better Canon model your KZbin video about refilling PFI-1000 cartridges looks very interesting. But are the color the same as the original Canon? If not - how do you flush the PFI-1000 cartridges so that one can produce ICM profiles. Have you found a solution for European buyers to get your ink - right now your product has gone up a 100%, have you thought about eg. a German reseller. BR.

Hi Ole, Just to clarify one thing for the Pro-100... if the cartridges are empty/used then flushing is a good idea if you intend to profile them or if the cartridge sponges are dried out and/or soiled where they're likely to cause contamination or ink flow/feed issues. With regards to the Pro-1000 you have to remember that that model is fitted with substantial internal ink tanks that fill with the OEM ink when you first setup the printer. So it will take some time to mix with compatible ink and slowly dilute that buffer of ink until they are clear of the OEM and fully replaced with the compatible ink. Short version is it'll be a while before you can reliably profile the new inks. The colours are reasonably close and there's no compatibility issues in terms of chemical/gunking issues to worry about. Someone is always going to find subtle differences though so I'd give some thought to occasional profiling. As to pricing and Europe. We're shipping using Spring GDS and DHL Express. Brexit and Covid restrictions are still causing some delays but orders are getting through successfully. Also the prices now incorporate a shipping value into them so you'll probably find that shipping is now much less expensive and potentially free for tracked services when you order larger value orders. No plans regarding resellers for our ink products though... it's just not something we've developed interest in.. Might happen but the administration overhead is the deal killer for now. Whoops. Understand the confusion now... The video shows the refill process using a water solution with a little yellow dye in it. That is definitely NOT what we supply with the refill kits or as inks. Our actual inks are pigment and can be used with the OEM/original inks. Trust that clarifies things better.
