Nice video! The track logs show you did a really good, tight pattern ... BTW, love the red headlamp ;-)

Quite the boxy circuits! Awesome. Good reminder in due for a 6 month

Thanks very much! It’s a lot easier to draw those pretty boxes when there’s no wind. 😀

The approach and landing when you headed back to Oshawa was excellent. I should get out and regain my night currency as well. Take care.

Currently doing my night rating in a Sierra I recently bought into just west of you at YKF, so was interesting to see this! Agree that nights are much quieter and calmer to fly in, and while riskier, some of that is mitigated by knowing the plane very well and being able to pick out abnormalities. I imagine it makes for less than ideal videos, but I do enjoy seeing ones like this!

Oh nice. Always good to connect with other Sierra owners nearby. Hopefully we get a chance to meet at some point.

YPQ awos more often than not seems report low vis and mist at night. I know they have had some issues with their weather system there. Still be careful and take into consideration dew point spread and have sufficient fuel. Could also ask for a pirep if aircraft are in the area as well as unicom. Nice bird and safe flying man! Your channel has helped me with some US flying I've been doing :)

Thanks @WilliamR540, I appreciate that. Yeah that YPQ weather is awesome - it was a great way to experience IMC during my instrument training. Whereabouts in the Us have you been going?

R.E.M. reference on your show title, “Night Flying, deserves a quiet night”? 👍🏼
