I didn’t get where I am today without Reginald Perrin episodes being shown in the U.S. in the 1980s on our public television. I loved this show. The British shows added so much to our viewing, and Reggie and C.J. were two of the best characters.

I absolutely love this scene "I've no idea CJ" "You Reggie" "Me CJ?" Brilliant Leonard Rossiter was great in this all the way through to the end and all the other great cast through the follow up series. All these make me laugh so much I have to pause so I don't miss the next bit :)

LOL! VHS is superb! at least that older media do not have today's DVD edits! Was watching an episode of Steptoe & Son on yesterday channel last night and the word POOF was edited out, they should leave things as they were as it reflects the times. Flipped or not, it's still superb telly :)

Since first hearing them at the age of nineteen, I’ve maintained the view that “Bolivian unicyclist’s jockstrap” are the three funniest words ever written. What a shame this clip is marred by technical interference. And what a shame this thread is marred by a humourless bore.
