She’s simply sorry for being rude to the officer. What an entitled chick!! If that was all a criminal had to do was issue an apology, there would be no need for all of our prisons! The second she stepped into that house (and ditched her sippy cup of vodka), and the officer lost sight of her, she killed the dui investigation. Did she drink before she drove, while she drove - or while in the house unobserved..? She wins. And, ivr never seen nor heard of someone not getting cuffed after fleeing. Standard procedure. Have to secure them until you figure out why they fled. Dont flee for no damn reason. Usually dui/drugs/warrant...

I'm sorry but I'm sorry is not going to cut it, considering her position and the laws concerning corruption, nope, don't think so. In some states what she did was called "corruption by threat to a public servant", that's when you threaten to get an officer fired or some other harm to prevent them from carrying out their duties, she did that, and she also called his chief in order to avoid, she is guilty.

I think the guy meant to commend the law enforcement officer for doing a good job of not escalating the situation, (well, not providing an opportunity for the offender to escalate the situation, at least) as the woman, as stick up as she was, could very well be a liability to the police department there. During that moment that woman would have sure fought, screamed, bit her way to a legal case, but not without a criminal case following it. I'm pretty sure the officer knows something we don't.

@@sandasturner9529 I’m pretty certain that if I fled from the Police, they would do their level best to arrest me once they had caught up with me. Could I be wrong about that? If a Federal Judge commits a crime and then runs from the Police, should he/she not be placed under immediate arrest just like everyone else would be?

Her behaviour and actions indicate a degree of entitlement, a lack of self-awareness and contempt for the laws she swore to uphold that no law enforcement official can ever have and expect to retain the public trust. Massive red flags here, no place in public office for people like this. And I'm confident she got FAR more indulgence and lattitude from the police than an average citizen would have behaving the same way, and yet still thinks she's hard done by, speaks volumes - unbelievable!

Most jobs fire people just for making the news in a negative way. That lady with the dog in Central Park calling the cops on the guy bird watching. That lady they made the Karen memes about calling the police on people who were bbqing. The lady who called the cops on the black teens in the swimming pool. The guy yelling at a cashier because they did not make his coffee the way he wanted. Etc…. She said, “ she wanted to save the city some money”.
