Review: Bushka's Kitchen (4 kinds) and Bye Bye Jessica.

In this video we tried four freeze dried dishes made by Bushka's Kitchen. We also said our farewell to Jessica, who has moved away to attend college.
One interesting thing to note: Bushka's Kitchen uses Harvest Right Freeze Dryers!

Our favorite pasta is the Yellow Box Protein+ Barilla Pasta. We use it to make Chicken Broccoli Penne Pasta Alfredo. It has Semolina Flour, Drum Wheat Flour, Lentil Flour, Pea Protein, Chickpea Flour, Barley Flour and Spelt Flour. 38 carbohydrates with 5 fiber, but only 2 grams of sugar. We use two different Cheese Sauces and a shredded Italian or Colby Jack blend cheese. Bertolli or Prego Garlic or Roasted Garlic Parmesan Alfredo + Ragu, Prego or Classico Four Cheese or Bertolli Basil Alfredo and a Garlic or Roasted Garlic Parmesan Alfredo sauce We find using two sauces gives a superb blend of flavor. When the pot is ready to serve, I put in 1/3 to 1/2 pound shredded cheese and mix in. Then put a little on top and bake long enough for it to start to bubble and slightly brown. If we do garlic bread, we do bread sticks with a Salted Garlic Olive Oil or if we are on the Low Carb Diet Pan Fried low carb Aldi buns, spread with Salted Parmesan Garlic Butter. I also steam the broccoli, taking just two of the softest pieces of broccoli and dice them into bits to add to the cheese sauce. This adds some color and texture to the sauce if we do not use the Bertolli Creamy Basil sauce. I have made this same meal with diced vegan grilled chicken breast. We can not tell it is a Vegan meal.

We ❤ you Jessica. Hope you do great things. I was wondering if I can make my own supplements in the freeze dryer. I'd love to ground it to powder and pill press them. I'd save on not having to buy sub par supplements that add junk additives or take away nutrients from their supplements. I was also wondering if you can preserve life saving medications if the grid goes down or some natural disaster happens, drugs like insulin, antibiotics, etc. Your freeze dryer would be the first to do such a needed emergency prep. It would not only preserve food but might be able to preserve life saving medications in it's purest form without taking away from it's potency if mass medical emergency shortages happen and not enough life saving drugs are available to those who need it most. The government might need it in bulk if they are cut off unexpectedly. I'm not trying to be all gloom and doom but shit happens.
