I love my boy Alex. he's visually so cool in 3rd strike, I'm still a bit bummed with how the art direction of 5 did him dirty, dude's ugly in the face. but lovely to play nonetheless. hope he comes back

His SF3 art style is so iconic. That's one of the reasons coop cup always uses Alex. Those posters are a thing of legends.

I absolutely love Alex and I’ve been on a nice SFV kick lately. I’m so glad you’re talking about him and I can’t wait till he’s in 6! Also worth noting, you can Yomi Drop with the sleeper hold from VT2

Oh I really hope Alex makes it back (and Hugo too). I want more grapplers to play. Plus im interested to see how they would make Alex work in sf6 where stun is completely different. I imagine he'd just be really good at burning the opponent out?

You have a great point. It is true that Alex was a stun beast in SF3 and V. It would make sense to translate that into burnout, however, it might break the delicate balance of drive. Maybe they can add some "stun" after certain hits like his HP chop in SF3 for a combo. Yet, if they do add insane drive damage to Alex, I wouldn't complain, haha.

Honestly disappointed you hopped on the sfv bandwagon but I get it. Alex is big fun in sfv, or at least as much fun as you can have in this "fighting game". Play it with friends boys, don't play ranked.

Bro the last season of sfv was amazing. The game got better with each season. The general concession was that sfv season v was amazing. It became a very good game, it took a while but it got there.

I wanted to do an Alex video for a while because his SFV version is so much better than his SF3 one. It's truly an interesting journey from zero to hero.
