You don't have an owners manual? Or eyes to look at back end of car to read which trim it is? (Some cars don't but I'd say 95% have the trim CLEARLY shown on/near the back bumper)

Here in the UK, the Titanium is seriously substandard compared to the Titanium shown here. Mine has manual cloth seats, no lane warning system, smaller satnav, and no blind spot warning system. We got conned.

The Focus Titanium came with the naturally aspirated DOHC 2.0L 4 cylinder. It produces 160hp and 146 ft-lbs. of torque through a six-speed select shift automatic transmission. EPA MPG ratings are 24 city/ 34 highway/ 28 combined. This engine was also availible on the SEL trim.

you guys didn’t include my trim. i have a SE put it’s a sport package. It has reg SEL wheels but is a SE. it also has a 6 speed DCT (dual clutch transmission) with paddle shifters too which is the only one with this option you guys seriously missed a big trim level. but i understand because it’s rare. never seen one with a duck bill wing, the SEL tires, be a SE, have a 6 speed dct with sport mode and paddle shifters, as well as 17” tires. it’s factory it’s just no one mentions the sport package model.

Thanks for watching and commenting. You touched on your specific vehicle in your own comment. The package you mention is actually not a trim level but rather an add-on package to the SE trim level. Ford has and continues to offer add-on packages to their trims that completely change the character of the vehicle, borrowing pieces and features from other trims to spruce up a lower trim level. As you mentioned that package was quite rare and may not have been available for us to film when we created this video to show an example of the package on the SE trim. Sounds like a great car, and glad you are enjoying it!

At this point, the Focus has been discontinued as of the 2018 model. Unfortunately, you can not special order the specs you desire in a new Focus. You will have to find one on the second-hand market in the United States. If you do not reside in the US you will have to visit the Ford website in your country and build your spec online.

So the difference between the Se & and the Sel is that the difference is with the stereo set up ? Are they difference in sizes as far as the whole car, tires.?

There's more to the Stereo setup between the SYNC 3 system and the SYNC system. SYNC 3 is an infotainment system with more custom features like the touch screen, larger display, in-vehicle settings, etc.... The SEL does come with different wheels, and more options like a sunroof, adding on different packages like cold weather for heated seats. Dual Zone Climate control was also mentioned in the video. Each trim adds a bit more features than the base S as you go up the line.

Can a engine from the focus titanium be install in a focus st?

I would not recommend that. There are more factors at play than just engine mount locations. The entire ECU would be different for a non-turbo engine.

The engine mentioned for the SE trim was noted as the base engine as in what comes standard. The 2.0L was also available as an option for the model year this video covers, hope this helps!

Someone may have changed the color of the badge or it is of a special trim for the model year that featured a red S. This video was for the later model year trims that were new when the video was produced.

Great EXCEPT NO INFO IF 4WD/FWD/RWD...you know, the drivetrain...which is like top if not most important spec to know besides the engine itself. Other than that, great video lol.

Thank you for watching and commenting. Every trim of the Ford Focus is front-wheel drive except for the RS trim which is all-wheel drive and that is mentioned at 5:43 in the video.

If you know these cars, all of them are FWD except the RS. This is an economy compact. Not a muscle car, or a 4x4 truck.

You americans never got the ST wagon, it's practicallity meets performance. SUV cars are just more popular i guess so Ford never saw a market for Stationwagons

I hate to break it to anybody trying to take this guy's word to heart. As someone who's owned a 2013 Ford focus they are really a pain in the ass. 1.Duel clutch Transmission is loaded with problems this double clutch pack is a pain in the ass to replace and you need to go to a ASE certified shop to get it replaced correctly. By far the worst transmission issues I've had to deal with shuttering, loss of speed, gear slipping. I had to go back to the dealer on several occasions each time they charged me $200 just to find out what was wrong with it. And this is supposed to be a new car. 2. The engine is a "overhead injected" which means the gasoline does not spray on the valves which overtime will lead to a lot of carbon buildup on the valves resulting in low performance. This will be its lifelong problem and will need to be cleaned on occasion. 3. My key is a feature that is used to allow a less experienced driver to use their vehicle with limitations like lower speed, stereo turns off if the seat belt is not buckled. Or audible chime will sound at 65 mph. This Mikey option programs a key for the learnes key ( student driver) once my key is initiated you cannot uninitiate it. You need to take it to the dealer and you will have to pay $200 for a new key and to reflash it. If you come across a Ford vehicle who has my key do yourself a favor. " don't touch it!" 4. Traction control the traction control on this vehicle sucks ass as a matter of fact if any wheel slips due to rain, ice or even mud you will hear the most horrendous sound and it sounds like your transmission is falling apart but no it is the traction control. You can turn this off if you haven't set the MyKey option. But it's not something you can do on the fly they should have had a button. 5. Fuel pumps on this Ford focus.... There are two fuel pumps the primary fuel pump which sets in the gas tank and the secondary fuel pump also known as the high pressure fuel pump. This high pressure fuel pump will go out after 60,000 miles and unless you are able to troubleshoot vehicles properly you'll end up replacing both. 6. Catalytic converter if taken care of properly a catalytic converter can last well over a hundred thousand miles but we got to around 30,000 miles before I needed to replace mine.

Sorry that you have had these issues with your Focus sir. Did you buy the car from us and have you been servicing with us? If so please contact our store's General Manager. For the MyKey issues you mentioned the MyKey can be uninitiated if you have two sets of keys and the other has not been set as a MyKey with both in the vehicle. This is true across the board on all Ford products with this feature.
