Wait, a card tutorial, with someone with a lot of knowledge, has the move mastered, goes into great troubleshooting detail, and has everything time stamped??? Instant sub!!! Thanks for the great video. I will be checking out your other content as well.

A quick tip that really helps, make sure you are holding the card right where your nail starts. If you hold the card too low on your finger you won't be able to flip it, and too high would make it easier to drop the card. I find the sweet spot to be a few mm below where the nail or right where it starts. Have fun learning!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I’ve been able to do it so much better now since watching this!!! Also sorta accidentally discovered another way to pull off the deck and get it into position. I like both ways but instead of how you taught it. I realized I could pinch the card on the right side edge but center of the card with thumb and index and just slide it up my index finger with my thumb and grab it with my pinky! Works pretty well too!

This is the weirdest thing. I watch what my right hand is doing as it tries to flip the card over to the middle of the Charlier(?) cut and it fails every time. By accident I started looking at the Charlier cut instead and not paying any attention to my right hand and it's finally working. Not 100% yet, but still better than zero. Thank you, Chandler!

The cards look so good, I’ll probably have to get one after the fact from resellers cause I’m short on money rn but I’ll get one eventually lol. Also thank you for the tutorial it really helped me with the move as I couldn’t do the flip properly before but it’s starting to look better

Beginner Advice: I am trying do do cardistry stuff since two weeks now. My cards shoot over the deckhand, ir flip to often and i dont seem to have them under control. I now realized, that my ringfinger under the backdrop card isnt stretched but a little bend upwards. Since I force myself to have index-, middle-, and ringfinger stretched, 3 of 5 land as they should. Maybe you have the same problems and this coule help.
