Your joints take damage no matter how you lift. Just like muscles they get micro tears. Muscle heals much faster than tendons and ligaments. If you're a pro bodybuilding you're constantly pushing the limits. That's why Jay is still healthy and Ronnie is messed up. Jay lifted lighter weight.

I started bodybuilding with a messed up shoulder so I've had to work around it the whole time. To be honest you would be shocked how much muscle I've been able to put on with how little weight I use. I have had to focus on the MMC and what exercises and angles to still be able to hit the muscles I want. My right pec is constantly trying to take over in pressing movements so i have to emphasize using my right shoulder(the injured one) and also emphasize using my left pec because my left shoulder wants to take over. I also have to try to use my right trap when my left automatically works like it should. If i go too heavy i can't stimulate what I want and keep good form because of my injury. But i dont compete so it's all good i just have to do extra front and side laterals to keep up my right shoulder and use high reps medium/light weight. I also cut my left quad deep at work using a 6" metabo so im constantly trying to balance out my imbalaced body. I embrace the challenge. Its better than just giving up, being and looking weak.

Being from Brazil, yes, bodybuilding is CRAZY here and some athletes are making soccer like salaries. its great - for a very selected few. fans are crazy, the sport is growing. From a "opening up a business and raising a family" stand point, dont do it. come as a tourist, I'd even advise going to the South (Santa Catarina) instead of Sao Paulo; but actually making a living means living in fear, specially if you're a family men

An honest question from a former D1 and low end professional baseball player. What are your thoughts on most “IFBB PROS” actually being amateurs? 90% or more people with IFBB pro aren’t actually pro because they don’t get paid by the IFBB. Only way to be paid is to win a show. Why doesn’t anyone talk about this and realize that being and IFBB PRO isn’t actually a professional athlete since they don’t get paid. Sponsors don’t count because tons of folks on social media get paid by sponsors who don’t even compete. I was sponsored and paid a monthly salary for working several years ago in men’s physique but I was lucky. I would love to hear Dennis and everyone’s thoughts on this topic. May make for a good podcast

You sound like a sensitive snowflake. Nobody cares if you stop watching because a grown man uses a word that you get offended by. Milos, keep staying true, God damnit 🙂

@milossarcev7538 hey Milos. I'm not trying to tell you anything. I just mentioned how I was feeling and probably a lot of other listeners. I guess I was hoping that you would be respectful about it.

No? Really? me (being CHEST) and Rolley (being TRICEPS), DJ (Front DELT) and Chris (Side DELT)... Telling guys - come help me move the weight...or telling them not to get involved... 🤔 It is hard to comprehend...🥹...
