Great film and a wonderful performance from Moore. A cellioud moment to him.

You’re right this is a terrific film and easily his best performance.

Roger Moore, a man without airs & graces or a sense of self importance despite his magnificent successes as an actor. The only stories I ever hear about him are positive, inspiring ones. He was truly a wonderful human being.

Which planet was that on? Moore had a very fine opinion of himself. And I recall no "magnificent successes".

@@tommymorrison6478 You must've missed his seven immensely popular (obvs not with you) film appearances as the lead as James Bond. Watch any interview he took part in, self-depreciating & never took himself too seriously.

@@markthompson62 I saw all of his Bond films, though was never aware he was "immensely popular". Far from it. He was always unfavourably compared to his predecessor. As to his interviews, I always thought that while he undoubtedly made self-deprecation his aim, it never succeeded, and his ego shone through. I'm afraid you're one of that multitude that feel the need to gush over famous film stars.

I love this film, his eyebrows took at back seat in this one.

the film 'Gold' was another good performance by Moore.

This is a great, lost movie. The same narrative trope is of course used in many other films - Carnival of Souls, Sixth Sense, The Haunting, many Horror films. But this one film should be rediscovered.

Did you know the director of this film, died in a car crash 1 year after this was released and he died on the same road they filmed the car crash at the start of this movie.

He made a mockery of James Bond. Excellent in all other movies.

He didn't write and direct them or produce them, for that matter

Moore was impressive in his early scene in The Wild Geese....he was very much like Robert Micham i.e. phoning in performance after performance but occasionally impressing with his latent acting talents...
