As an Italian who can understand Spanish, I must say that the Italian sentences read by Stefania were harder because of the words used ("scodinzolare"=wagging the tail, it's a mother tongue level word). Also, she read a bit faster than Andrea, so I should say the Spanish girl did very good in understanding as well (especially the station sentence, she did great even if it was quite complicated). Our languages have a high degree of mutual intelligibility, in fact I talk in Italian slowly to Spanish people and they can understand most of the sentence. Both girls are very enjoyable to watch in their interactions, so keep it up!!

@@christophermichaelclarence6003 don’t be sad! I’m Italian and personally, I love French and France too! Did you know that in Italy we call you french people “i cugini d’oltralpe” which means “our cousins from the other side of the Alps”? That only problem we (Spanish and Italian people) have with the French language is the accent. It sounds completely different from our mother tongues. But if you speak VERY slowly or we can read a sentence, we can understand each other as well: for sure, not with the same accuracy that we Italian and Spanish understand each other, but still in quite of a decent level! 👍🏻

@@christophermichaelclarence6003 did you know that northern Italy was called "Gallia cisalpina" (Gallia on this side of the Alps, from the point of view of Romans) because it was inhabited by Gauls as well? @@ledues3336before roman rule northern italy was culturally celtic, most of France of course, but also most of Spain was celtic too. But Francee itself. Was only partly celtic. Parts of gaul were not Celtic at all :, Provence was mostly Ligurian, languedoc was probably mixed iberian with some celtic settlements, and the south-west was vasconic (that is to say Basque-like), the norrth was Belgian (which was described by Romans as not totally celtic), etc. This is roman-derived cullture that united us under a common identity.

I understand that the people who make the Spanish, Italian or whatever non-english language transcriptions don't speak said language and they do what they can, but normally they are so wrong that why do it at all then? If it was one error, maybe two, ok. But it's the whole sentence and they just end up confusing people who trust the subtitles and are actually interested in what they are saying.

French does it too. It’s a grammar rule where E has to be before some S words. Which brings me to say it’s odd that in Italian it’s done for “Essere” but Spanish is “Ser”. You’d think it’s be the other way around with Spanish having the E and Italian without.

Fun fact: the 'Camera' that takes your picture is also named from the same root word as for chamber (as with 'camera' for a room, like you might hear called a chamber in archaic or formal English). The empty space between the lens and the film is the camera obscura (latin for dark room, but distinct from the room where you develop film - etymologically speaking).

As a Spanish speaking person I don’t find so difficult to understand Italian or Portuguese. The context is easy and also the gestures are easy from Italians, some words are difficult though. The ones that are really tough are French or Rumanian. Long time ago in Brussels I was looking for a soap in a store and ask for help in English but the person didn’t speak in english. Then I tried gestures but he still didn’t get it what I wanted. Finally I said it in Spanish jabón, then the guy said it in French. Oui, oui (yes,Yes) xabon, xabon. Very similar to the Spanish word for soap.

As someone who is a professional videographer, I can tell you most of the time with these kinds of productions there is a time gap between filming and editing. They probably film multiple episodes in one day then edit them all later when the talent is no longer around. Not to mention we typically don’t use quite a bit of the footage in the final cut. So they probably would not want to ask questions until they knew what portions they wanted to use but then they would have to pay for the participants to come back again.

I think Spanish in terms of vocabulary is closer to Portuguese, but in terms of phonetics, it is closer to Italian (even maybe there will be a 70-80 % of shared vocabulary). So yes, spoken it is Italian gets clearer and more understandable, while written, Portuguese (in my opinion) it is almost 95% understandable in terms of shared vocabulary and grammar but phonetics... are just too different from Spanish or Italian. @@christophermichaelclarence6003 I wanted to learn French first but mimicking French was too difficult and I’ve been told if you don’t have a good French accent then you might as well not learn it lol. Italian is much easier to mimic.

A cat's tail can reveal it's mood, but usually their purring is a better signal of happiness. I can understand the Spanish clearly, but the Italian, I have a bit of a difficulty to understand the meaning, to me there is a lot of "false friends" in it, also very swift.

Of course, Spanish is much more spoken all over the world, bu it's not true what the Italian girl says, that if you learn Italian you can speak only with Italians. Even if you don't count the smal Italian-speaking nation of San Marino, Italian is one of the official language in Switzerland, it is co-official in some regions of Slovenia and Croatia and it is an important language in Albania, Malta and in a couple of African states (Eritrea and Somalia) as well.

The subtitles of the sentences in Italian are totally wrong. 😖 "Oh sete avri sete" instead of "Ho sete" and "Avere sete". 😅 "Ho" and "Avere" are verbs; they means "I have" and "To have". It's not that complicated; whoever wrote the subtitles didn't make any effort. PS: "scodine solare" (WTF?!) instead of "scodinzolare". Ok, this is not a didactic video but... There are only errors... Only errors... 512.000 subscribers...

Are you native Italian speaker? Is there a difference between “andreMMo” and dovreMMo andare”?
@adrianomeis
@adrianomeis Жыл бұрын
@@Timothee_Chalamet_CMBYN Yes, I'm a native, madrelingua. So... "andremmo" and "dovremmo" are both conditionals (condizionali) but conditionals of two different verbs: "andremmo" is the condizionale of the verb "andare" (to go); "dovremmo" is the condizionale of the verb "dovere" (to have to, must; but in this case "should", because the conditional is less... imperative). So, "andremmo" means "we would go"; "dovremmo" means "we should". Both are 1st plural person. Io andr-ei/dovr-ei Tu andr-esti/dovr-esti Egli andr-ebbe/dovr-ebbe Noi andr-emmo/dovr-emmo Voi andr-este/dovr-este Essi andr-ebbero/dovr-ebbero Examples: (Noi) dovremmo andare. We should go. (Tu) devi andare. You have to go. Se (tu) avessi sonno, (noi) andremmo a casa. If you were tired, we would go home.

Los comentarios de este canal se han convertido en un territorio de guerra para ver qué hablantes en español hablan "mejor" que otros, qué lenguas y culturas son latinas y cuáles no, etc... el debate es rico cuando se habla con respeto y cuando, en lugar de solo hablar, también se quiere escuchar/leer (al otro). Cosas que aquí están sucediendo con poca frecuencia. Porque cada cual habla únicamente con la intención de inflar su ego. En fin, el video es divertidísimo. ¡¡Me encanta este contenido!!
