LUV THE MUSIC ! THANK Y❤U....🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 Brings back nice memories of my grandparents on my mother's side, her 'mum' was Irish & her dad was Scottish. Grandpa would play the accordion or the bag pipes at his big farm in Upstate New York standing next to a paster fence & the horses & cows & other animals would come running to him to listen. I'd feed them some treats.😊 My dad's side is English & I was born in New York, U.S.A. -- How much luckyer can you get with wonderful buds like that to ❤ had in your life...as I'm very proud of all of them.

Absolutely phenomenal performance absolutely magnificent! When I think of the walls of Jericho falling in the biblical story of Truth I envisioned warriors like this marching around the walls for 6 days and on the seventh day the walls of Jericho fell! There was a city surrounded by a wall no one came in or out at all the people who lived inside were wicked God said this is how we're going to fix it Make seven trumpets from the horns of RAM and March March at my command! Not by might nor by power but by my spirit saith the Lord on the seventh day because of Mighty warriors of praise like this the walls of corruption fell. Nothing inspires greater faster the musical message of Faith family and freedom like the bagpipes! Legendary! Thank you for sharing this amazing performance truly inspiring!

I have just watched the pipes and drums in this video & once again they have come up to the same standard as all the other bands have been, it's great when they play Scotland the brave & all the other tunes as well, but I like when they play Scotland the brave followed by the flower of Scotland, -what a team the pipes and drums are.

I think all garlic are mandinka check their culture And ask a mandinka to tell your about Edinburgh what it means & other Scottish name's it's derived from mandinka language & also their culture just go to Mali & investigate if you don't believe me

By crikey, if you want to mess with a man's emotions give him some o' the pipes. Want him to fight? Gi' him the pipes. Want him to remember? Gi' him the pipes. Want him to cry like a baby? Gi' him the pipes. Oh, the pipes, the pipes, I love hearing you! If anyone has a link to a pibroch worth watching and, above all, worth listening to, let me know.

Some of us have only just become acquainted with Highland Cathedra. It sounds particularly poignant to me as if there is as much meaning behind it as Flowers of the Forest or Scotland the Brave.
@sidpheasant7585 Жыл бұрын
I am not quite sure if we should be a bit red-faced, or in fact very proud, that this tune came into existence in 1982 in Germany, thanks to Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb. They wanted a tune for a Highland Games there! I remember it appearing at Massed Bands events in the UK rather quickly, but I suspect it got there via the Scottish Regiments based in Germany. It has had English-langueg lyrics since 1990. Surely it IS poignant, though I think there is a view (which you can also find in the comments here) that it is the "go to" poignant tune for pipes (+ military band), and some therefore feel it has been over-played...
