A couple months ago I went to a NFL game and had no idea what was happening. About a month later I watched a NFL game on TV didn't know what was happening. Then in less than a month after that game I watched more games and somehow I used my brain without watching videos and taught myself the rules. I'm so addicted to football now, know all the rules so well. It really made it entertaining. I'm just shocked how I somehow understood the rules from a game or 2

You did a wonderful job of explaining the game. I just want to add in somethings . Turnover on downs if the team doesn't get a first down on 4th down and not punt it. Safety or touchback seen that in 1991 but Granby lose to Hampton 20-8 . Didn't mention what plays are which is to trick or deceive opponents in order to score . Thanks you .

The crazy thing is I like watching this kind of stuff even though I learned the basics of football a long time ago there's just something about it that really fascinates me and I'm very very interested in the sport. I might be thinking about making a business opportunity out of it cuz I want to be able to help out local schools local athletes and maybe even help out those who are trying to continue their education into college gaining entry into the NFL. Hey i’m a cornerback been playing for about 3 weeks. Great video i appreciate it. Few questions i did have was: When i make an interception, can i punt, throw and run? Can i take a knee? If so what would that do. If i’m flying over the corner of the oppositions end goal is it only the ball that has to go across the line if i’m in control? Do i have to have both feet in the end goal no matter what? When am i allowed to floor the wide recievers? Can it be as they’re attempting to grab the ball? After contact with the ball? If we make it 10 yards do we get 4 more chances? or do we have 4 chances to score? When someone tries to tackle me, what constitutes me getting officially tackled? Can i get back up if they push me over? When we’re defending and i intercept a ball in the end zone, what are my options? I’ve seen videos of players avoiding standing on their own field goal and throwing the ball onto the 100 yard zone. Why? Is that ball still live? What options do both teams have and what constitutes a ‘dead’ ball. Sorry for the all the questions ik it’s a lot don’t feel the need to answer all of them i’d appreciate anything. Would talking shit to the opposing team ever result in a penalty for us? Thanks

Hey There! To answer your questions... When you intercept the ball, you will try to score a touchdown in the opponent's end zone. You can throw it backward. You can't punt it. Most teams will try to get to the sideline so they don't risk fumbling it. Correct only the ball has to cross the goal line. You can only hit the receivers within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. Once the ball is in the air, both the receiver and defensive player has equal rights to try to catch it. Too much contact from the defensive player will result in a pass interference penalty. When your, knee or elbow hits the ground, you are officially down. If you intercept the ball in the end zone, you can try to return it for a touchdown. The other option, if you're still in the end zone, you can take a knee, and the ball will be treated like a "touchback". This will automatically put the ball at the 25 yard line. Lol talking smack isn't recommended, and could result in a personal foul if the referees determine it to be too vulgar. Hope that helped!

@@kyliemw Haha we're glad you're here and want to learn! So when you go into overtime, the first person to score a touchdown wins. However, if the first team (the packers) kick a FG, then the patriots have a chance to score as well. Last night however, the packers got the ball, and didn't score. Then the patriots got the ball, and didn't score. So now the overtime rule changes and that any team that scores any points, wins the ball game. So the packers kicking a FG wins them the game. Hope that helped!
